Hill was held out of practice today due to NCAA Clearinghouse issues, the staff expects it to be resolved soon though.

Hill has mono & will be out for the rest of Spring practice.

if he has mono he is no contact for up to 6 months. this is precautionary since the spleen has a high rate of rupture in mononucleosis, but the doc's could let him resume full contact depending on lab tests.

yea there is literature out there to support that timeline, but alot of times the doctors will gauge based on symptoms and some specific lab tests for antibodies.

Had mono during football season as a sophomore in high school. Had no clue that I had it, doctors said its a wonder I was even able to move, let alone play. Didn't diagnose me until I almost passed out in a basketball practice after football was over with. It's definitely not something I recommend or wish on anyone.
