I don't recall any starting TB that size that runs over a 4.5 in a few years.
The best days of LB at UT in the past 15 yrs were when HS RB's came in and played LB.
Our best LB coming in this year may be Vereen when it's said and done.
Great pickup IMO. Kid looks like the take his lunch pail to work and earn it kinda guy. I see alot of people saying that just because Hill commited does not mean Cross is gone. This could be very much true. They could be on their way to taking 4 RBs. They could also be helping Cross with his decision to make the call to UVA. If they keep them both....I see no problem with having 2 big backs to beat on teams late in games. Another possibility is the staff likes what they have in Neal, Lane, Smith, DY..add the 2 big backs and maybe they are done at RB for this class. Alot of scenarios still to play out.

Not always big on under the radar recruits, but Dooley might have found one here. Have never seen a recruiting video with more big runs. His stats back up it up too. He gets to the endzone. Power, speed, big numbers, not sure why he is a just a 3* (2* ESPN).
Maybe Keyante's statement was right. We could be taking 4 RBs???
Everyone's assuming that this means Cross is gone, even though we have a RB recruit claiming that the coaches want four backs in this class. We're all assuming this because we don't think we have enough spots for 4 RBs.
I'd like to take everyone back to late last year, when we had commitments from Randolph, Martin, and Coleman and were pushing hard for Thomas, Moore, Lanier, and Orta (we'll ignore Loften). Everybody said we'd take 5 DBs. Some said we might take 6, even though it seemed crazy. But the coaches kept acting like they might do the unthinkable and take 6. They took 7. Obviously, they didn't like the DB situation and wanted it shored up fast.
Well, we're hearing rumblings and seeing actions that say the coaches don't like the RB situation and want a huge influx of talent there. 4 seems like way too many to me too, but it's not like we've never done this kind of thing before. It's certainly in the realm of possibility.
edit: But if the coaches told him there's only one spot left. . . unless there are silents, the coaches and Hill or Green got their wires crossed somehow.
Your analysis is WAY off on this one.
