20-13 Central going into the 4th quarter.

Blanc is really limping, his ankle is bothering him pretty bad. He isn't able to cut.

Just got back from the game, Central won 27-14.

First I'll say that Blanc is a legit 6'1-6'2 175-185lbs, you could tell he was still hurting w/ his ankle. It really started bothering him in the 2nd half. I never really got to see him use his speed any b/c his OL is TERRIBLE, he was mostly running for his life when he carried the ball. If I had to guess I'd say he had 11-15 carries for about 70 yards. I know that he had a KOR for about 30 yards, a Pass TD, & a INT.

Well done. Thanks!

At halftime Central is leading 13-7. Blanc has about 6 rushes for about 10 yards, 1 pass TD & a KOR for about 30 yards. 1INT

Blanc is a legit 6'1-6'2 180-185, really haven't been able to see him use his speed yet.

That was at halftime, & his OL is BAD!!!

I get that their line is bad but they were playing clinton.Let me take a second to thank you for all of your great info with regards to recruiting.I always enjoy reading it so again thanks. As far as Cody Blanc goes I am not for him getting one of our limited number of schollys. There are alot better players on our board.I saw him play against a down Oak Ridge team.He looked very average.

I feel like if he runs a legit sub 4.5 he's fine in my book as a DB.

But,
If say, Karl Joseph wants to be a Vol w/ limited space, my personal preference would be Karl over Blanc

Still not a fan of this commitment but I'm trusting the coaches at this point...

Not many people are. You'll just get people to throw the "CDD and Beamer offered him, I'll trust them over you," card out.

I have heard people say that his offer was based on "politics". Anybody know what they mean by this?

These people are really stretching in some lame attempt to justify this commitment to themselves.
He's a Vol, people just need to embrace that fact at let the rest play itself out.

Yep. Good Size, Good Speed, and Smart. I think we should keep him.

Yeah, not saying that political schollies don't exist, but it kind of seems like a stretch.. out of pure curiosity.. I wonder how people came to that conclusion.

Knowing they need to win in the next couple of years, I don't think the coaches would give out any "political" schollies. Winning will do more politically anyways.

Nick Saban is the best. Yes he has many studs, but he also has an OL, a DL, TE and an LB or S that weren't on the big star radar, but know football, are decent players and would rather play for Bama than anywhere else. Those guys are glue for a team, and they are a necessity. You can't have all chiefs. On paper it looks good, but it usually isn't the best for a "team".

Surprised you can type and Saban can walk with your head up there, Finebaum.

@Cody_____
Cody Blanc
I hate reading more then anything but after listening to @InkyJohnson earlier today I think I'm gonna buy his book #inspired

I talked to some people who were at Inky's talk today. They said he was inspiring as always and also pulled Cody aside and talked to him one on one after his talk with the school. It amazes me how many people Inky continues to touch with his story.
