Nothing against the kid but offering him IMO is not a good sign for where we stand w/ other guys right now. This will be a Tyler Maples 2.0

If we were taking a full 25 in this class I could understand throwing a scholly out to give him a chance & add a little depth but with our low numbers Blanc is NOT a take ATP.

I'm really surprised by this offer...especically at this point in time...

He is not an elite prospect...he does not play a position of dire need....we do not have spots to burn in this class...it just doesn't make sense to me...

This is a player you could offer late when better prospects have turned you down

Is it just me or has the season yet to be played? All of your opinions could be warranted. But then again, he could tear it up and make Freshman All SEC. Let's just let the season play out. I am glad that his teammates hold him in such high regard. Let's hope his practices transition over to the games.

Not trying to be a jerk, but you say coaches know how to evaluate talent, and then 2 sentences later, you question the position he is in.

Coaches aren't always right, but after spring and fall practice, they have a great idea of where to our him.

I thought it was good entertainment myself. Anybody that can't take the heat for their predictions about recruits should just quit making predictions.

He is going to be a beast WR. He is staying at WR and its exactly where he should be. No way does he need to be playing D.
