I'm venturing close to flammable territory, but isn't he about the same build/weight as Da'rick? I can't see DR running any faster than a 4.45 either.

What is his weight now? The original post said he went a buck 85.... Does anyone know if this still correct... It also said he ran a 4.5.. Does that right also?

Sorry for the multiple questions... I just do not know a lot about the guy and the thread is 37 pages long...

Michael Floyd ran 4.47
Jeremy Maclin 4.48
Torrey Smith 4.43
Denarius Moore 4.45

We don't know how good he will be in the open field or after the catch. But hopefully he has great hands and can make stuff happen.

I hope Blanc steps right in and is a beast in the slot.

If he could even manage a season like JH11's fresh year and have a couple of the other froshes play decent we may not skip a beat.

I am probably just trying to hold on to hope that this team can have the season it was going to have with Da'Rick, without him.

Michael Floyd is a similar body type from what I’ve seen. Big, thick-torso guys. Not saying Blanc is in Floyd’s league from a production or talent standpoint, but I won’t be shocked if he’s the slot (F) receiver from the first game or by Florida.

Smith at Maryland was listed at 6'1, 205
Maclin at 6'1 200
Floyd 6'3 224

I get what you mean, Blanc may be a little thicker than Maclin or Smith. That's also probably from their senior years and everything.

Blanc's height is just very nice, too.

Let's not do this....setting yourselves up for failure doing something like this. Let the kid play before claiming all this Blanc craze. I'd be surprised for him to catch over 15-20 passes this year. Which would be a good freshman year. This thread reminds me of another WR on this team that does really well at practice.
