Check ZR's thread from a few years back. There were quite a few people bashing LD1 over his comments.

Yeah I remember, here is to hoping someone steps up to fill the void. Personally, I would love for that to be ZR because he has done all the right things, represented the program the right way, etc. Like I said in another thread, he only needs to catch around 2 a game to make a difference. He needs to be ready when Bray calls his number. Hunter, CP, and Rivera will get the rest.

He may do alright since he can catch something if he's wide open. How's that? Bookmark it.

No Fitzgerald, Greg Jennings, Vincent Jackson or Brandon Marshall at WR. These guys don't have to line up in the slot to produce either.

No Vernon Davis, or Graham at TE either. Come on.

Edit: add Steve Smith, Victor Cruz(best slot WR in the league), Hakeem Nicks, Roddy White, Miles Austin.

I don't think Graham is in the group of best complete TEs yet. If you're just talking about receiving, then you have to include him.

I do agree that Welker is not one of the top five WRs though. Top 5 slot receivers, but not overall.

And the guys I listed are matched up on No.1 or No.2 CBs every down. Getting in the slot is a clear advantage for the WR. You can move the WR around nor can you really call a coverage taking him away like you would if he were lining up on the outside. Slot guys really don't have to deal with press coverage a lot either. Most No.1 CBs also have a hard time playing over slot too. There's a major difference being on the outside with the sideline and going inside where there is a bunch of space and a player outside of you to worry about at times.

Now I gave hep legit reasons and players. Stop playing the race card and respond hep.

SN: I left Julio and AJ off when I could've added them. Julio is looking real good this preseason.

I gave you my two cents. Moving on :hi:

I think cody can be an excellent #2 WR for us for 4 years. cant wait to see him develop. would have loved to see him use that athleticism on defense tho

Rucker giving a ton of love to Blanc on the show today. Quoting a variety of players talking about how well he can play. It was a good listen.

Good message will be lost on deaf ears. No offense to the deaf meant.
