Only if you don't have to take a chance. If Kirvin or Shanks wants to commit then it is a no brainer. If we miss def pick the guy up and take a chance.

Apparently Bryson received a Missouri offer yesterday and is still considering his options. Hubbs said that UT will continue to recruit Bryson and see how the overall numbers shake out. May not be over yet.

if there are no grade issues and Kirven & Shanks go else where. I could see us giving Bryson a chance, he has good quickness off the ball and nice size. I am not a star gazer I just think he has some upside. CJP could coach him up imo

I know there will be a drop off, but not as big as some may think. We just got a DL coach that has turned out some pretty good D Lineman in his career. DT's are always a need in the SEC, we have one staring us in the face right here. Think, Carson from last year is he that much better then Bryson ? :hi:

and with the other guys we have coming in we could afford to give him a redshirt year. a year on the practice field and weight room would really benefit a kid like bryson.

I think it comes down to Kirven. I do not believe Shanks will be here. If Kirven is not a Vol, I believe Bryson will be. Not sure about Robison.

I understand that Sunseri is very high on Robison -- pretty sure we will take him before Bryson if he will commit to us and his grades are in order.
