'12 TN DT Tevin Bryson

I will do my best JMoore impersonation (out of respect only) in my first post. I am not an insider, but I do go to church with one of the coaches from Humboldt. He said that they are encouraging this kid to visit UT and a few other schools (Ole Miss is likely to offer soon) so that he doesn't sell anyone short. With that being said, he visited Miss. State previously (when Bama came to town) and they seem to be the favorite.

I've seen his film a couple times. He's about what you're looking for in that position; strong and quick. But we won't assign him a grade until next week, then I think it will be updated the week after that.

Competition plays a little bit of a factor, that's why you look at the body, watch the feet/hands, rip, etc. Ideally, you'd like to see someone in person. To be honest, it completely sucks when you can't.

But this is a situation where he burst onto the scene late. So we can only do what we can do.

He's impressive, but others also need to look at his film, not just me.

IMO we should offer this kid if he has the grades. This guy is a perfect redshirt candidate & would be a solid contributor. You can never take to many DT's

Since we'll probably sign a full class, and as long as we get a good RB (most likely Bourque), lock-up McCullers, and possibly get Q. Davis, I'd be alright with offering him.

According to VQ, no offer yet but UT is going to keep recruiting him. Should be visiting near the end of the month.

Meaning we're going to see how things develop when Shanks and Kirven hear about CRS before we offer him?

My opinion? Absolutley. I don't think it will be much longer before he is offered though. We lost Crawley last night (probably due to grades) and there are some scholarships opening up.

Sounds like a good plan to me. This guy will probably get an offer on the 14th or we will be happy enough at DT that we won't worry about it.

great pick up for them. he has a very high ceiling

I hope he gets coached up there

One of two scenarios, we passed on taking him altogether, or we'll offer late if we miss on higher guys.

Just like the kid from Warren County last year. Simply not an SEC talent at 18. Sure would love to have him but I dont think he is even close in talent to crack our top 25 scholly offers..JMO

Also like the kid last year. I don't believe he will be offered a scholarship at Tenn...
