Its a scrimmage dude. Mathers probably had around 50 or 60 yards including the 30 yard run that had a holding penalty called down the field on 6 or 7 carries. Gallatin did a good job on him but lets not get carried away on a scrimmage. The Green Wave shut Mathers down.
Ease up. I'm doing some trash talking and I earned my right to do so in Green and Gold. Its a scrimmage dude. Gallatin did control the line of scrimmage in the game though. I'll give you that.
I'm honestly shocked at how that scrimmage played out. Mathers did only have 7 or 8 carries, but Gallatin's defense got in his head early with that big hit that caused him to fumble the ball. No reason to get him hurt by giving him 15-20 carries though. Mathers will still impress this year. Does anybody what happened with the Brentwood Academy scrimmage today?
Mathers committed to Ole Miss today.

Crazy how strong the talent at RB was in Tennessee this year and UT did not sign a single one. Not mad, I like our backs we have committed.
So much for locking down the state.
They didn't fight hard for Kimbrow if at all. Robinson had grade concerns and Mathers wouldn't even listen to UT. Mathers is the only one I think they really would have liked to have. Wasting your talent at Ole Miss makes no sense though. Something weird there.
