120k a year isn’t enough

The bolded is the biggest lie you've ever told. BUT way to toot your own horn.
He's not the only one who does it. I will admit he stands his ground. But the problem is he will resort to name calling and insults immediately the moment someone disagrees with him. When his tactic is used back at him he loves playing the victim. It's a common tactic him and his 3 buddies on here like to use. I've suggested they grow up and act like adults many times but they refuse. And I'm sure many posters on this forum get tired of seeing these constant back and forth bickering they have with others. It takes up valuable forum space.

Lol that previous avatar heading was a quote from George Carlin. Which I wouldn't expect you to know And guess what. As much as you think you're part of the club yourself. You're not. Nobody on this forum is.

I also learned years ago to question mainstream news sources. And I will continue to do so. However if I see people repeating them I will call it out.

So you are okay if a business stated their employees had to join a union as part of a condition of employment? Are you also okay with state occupational requirements? The problem is what you and many others believe does not match most of what is on the national libertarian party platform. And if I see it I will call it out.

What's funny is you and your fellow pack of hens think it's okay to insult and call other people names in here. But the moment someone does it back you and your fellow hens play and cry victim. You guys have a track record of it.

Here's a piece of advice. You don't like the way people talk to you then I suggest not doing it to others first. Or if you are going to dish it out then learn how to take it as well. And maybe also learn to have a conversation like an adult.

Finally. Not everyone is going to agree with you but the fact you resort to immediate name calling and insults when someone doesn't on a topic shows a lot about your character. As long as you and others continue to do it then people will do it right back.
Yeah I knew where it was from, and it doesn't change the fact that only jealous small-minded people worry so much about "not being in the club". And you don't know anything about anyone else here including myself, you are simply grasping at straws trying to place people in boxes based on message board posts on a college football board.

I don't care if I have $100 million, $1 million, or simply 180k a year, I have a great life with a great family with the ability to do whatever I want at nearly anytime. That's what hard work and being smart does, along with having actual work skills and connections that are valuable.

I question mainstream sources and know when they are FOS too, but the difference with you is you believe just because some russian state run media or some conspiracy youtube nutjob is the OPPOSITE of a biased MSM site, it HAS to be the truth, when in reality, it's just as much made up BS If not more. Just because something is against the "common narrative", doesn't also mean its true and accurate!

If a business requires someone to be in a union, I would personally disagree with it, but it is the business' right to do so. ANY employment is a 100% voluntary agreement, there is no RIGHT to work somewhere. If you don;'t like the employer's rules or requirements, then go somewhere else! Not a hard concept at all

I am not playing victim, and I don't care if you or someone else name calls me, I am pointing out that some posters fall back on the victim mentality and whine about it, in your case, you call names and then whine about people calling names. Again limited logical thinking and classifying posters into groups all the time.

you are the one who doesn't even believe the term unskilled labor exists, and you got so butthurt when literally 20-30 posters showed you that you were wrong. just like in the Ukraine thread, you are hard headed and dig into incorrect or biased beliefs, then cry when others prove you wrong....time and time again. You arent being called names by everyone because of juvenile banter, you are being called out for being irrational and unintelligent on 90% of the topics here

Please show me a post that I have "played victim".

3 buddies? I have tons of buddies on here, there is literally only about 10-15 posters on the entire site that I would say that I regularly disagree with politically or sports wise, and only about 7-8 of them would I consider unintelligent morons or simply mentally ill

If you say so, I don't listen to creepy pedo types so excuse me if your opinion means as much to me as DoubleD's druggie induced haze posts...something to amuse the other posters but of no real substance

There you go. Way to prove your complete lack of the ability to think logically. You put on this air of mental superiority, yet continually sound like someone with an IQ of sub 70.

You don't know anything about me and you are doing exactly what you are accusing me of doing which is grasping at straws and placing people in boxes based on posts on a message board. The perfect example is the multiple personal attacks you have used against me and others.

And so what if I believe certain jobs should require more compensation and believe it takes a level of skill to do it. I'm not sure why you or anyone else would be against higher compensation for anyone. Second you and others aren't doing those jobs which are needed for society and the economy to run. As a matter fact many people can't do them. So yes let's ensure that the adult workforce required for those positions are well compensated. Someone working at Walmart should be able to work there and be able to live and provide for their family. Not sure why that's such a controversial take. However if the cost of living keeps increasing the way it does then the democrat party will get their wish of "affordable housing for all". But that's another topic for another time.

Nobody ever showed me where I was wrong. The moment you and others resorted to your juvenile banter, name calling, and insults was the moment you lost the debate. Which is what you are continuing to do now. You can't resist talking this way which is why I also question that you are even a healthcare VP like you claim.

By the way. I have a good life myself and have been blessed with a wonderful family. Not sure why you'd think otherwise.

One final word of advice to you. Grow up.

The fact that you have proven to be a creepy weirdo who thinks it's ok to discuss adult sexual relationships with elementary school age kids is enough for me to dismiss you and your opinions. You are constantly laughed at on here by literally every other poster sans Luther and Evil because you are so far outside the realm of normalcy with your views, it's sad.

I am sorry that you feel inferior (which is a common theme of some on here whose feelz and personal family struggles and life experiences cloud and outweigh their logical thinking processes) but I don't worry about their opinions because they don't matter.

There are countless examples of posts where you responded to someone correctly debating your point with "nah nah you need to go back and watch Colbert" or "I bet you got that from CNN". It really makes you look clueless and you let your emotions kill 90% of any debate points you may have had.

I didn't say I disagree with compensation being better, however the issue is that you stated several times that the term unskilled labor didn't exist, which is completely wrong as it is used in every business and economics discussion in America. You act like there is no such thing as unskilled labor and are clearly wrong with that, even when shown the dictionary definition. Secondly, being a fry cook at Krystal or a ditch digger or a pizza delivery person or a guy who twirls signs outside for businesses is NOT skilled labor and literally any braindead, uneducated moron could be pulled off the street to do the job in less than 2 hours. There is a difference between those jobs and those that require ACTUAL education and training and skills like (plumbing, police officer, teacher, nurse, electrician, auto mechanic, pilot, etc.)

The issue is that you refuse to admit that.

I am not calling you a name right now, I am correctly pointing out that you were completely wrong about the unskilled labor discussion. Everyone on this board knows and will say the same thing.

and great I am sure they believe in you as well!

Nothing but lies in your post.

When I hear people repeat exactly what I could hear if I was to watch Colbert or from watching CNN then yes I will say that. Plus many of those sexual jokes people on here were making about Trump and Putin were made by Colbert. Plus after the multiple names people called me or accusing me of having a certain political affiliation or ideology first then I am free to say what I want. If you and others don't like it then I suggest you stop. I've said numerous times if you and others continue to do it then I will do so as well. Not sure how much more clear I can be.

Honestly the owner of the business should be getting out there and twirling any signs. Or perhaps find a better way to market their business. "Fry cooks" don't exist anymore. It's usually part of many duties that an actual cook or manager or even the cashier has to perform. Food delivery is needed because it's a service people are willing to pay for and expect someone else to put the wear and tear on their car and not their own. So yes those people should be well compensated and hopefully people tip them well. The fact you think people can do these jobs in just 2 hours really shows your ignorance in this matter. Just like you went along with that nonsense that someone could be taken off the street and trained to be a CNA within an hour. And as the Healthcare VP you claim to be you should have known better than go along with some nonsense like that.

Once again. An adult workforce is needed for these jobs in order for the economy to run efficiently. Therefore they should be well compensated. Plus with the shortage many jobs are facing it would make sense to start compensating people who are willing to work them AND are actually good at the jobs.

You need an adult to drive food from one place to another? Or stand on a sidewalk holding a sign?

Pizza places like Domino's and Papa John's will not hire delivery drivers unless you are 18 or older. If you have a bad driving record you can forget it. It also requires someone to have a driver's license and insurance as well. So yes you must legally be an adult to do the job. Once again you all are really starting to show your ignorance and are reaching in your arguments.

Maybe it's changed since when my brother was a delivery guy for pizza hut when he was a sophomore in high school.

So about that standing on a sidewalk holding a sign???

How long ago was that? 30 years ago? Because I believe 18 has been the minimum age for most major pizza chains for a long time now.

I don't know. I haven't ordered a pizza since I was like10.

18 isn't a requirement based on anything other than personal preference. And apparently not all Domino's pizza places agree with you.

Look at all these delivery jobs you can get as a 16 year old.

Could be facing staffing shortages like other places. Keep in mind minors can only work certain hours and plus they are going to be covered under their parents insurance and a job like this will cause their rates to go way up. A responsible parent isn't going to let their kids do a job like this.

You hit the nail on the head. No way I would let one of my kids deliver pizza's or anything else under my insurance, and most likely with me buying their gas and car to boot.

That's also more than likely the reason most places require drivers to be at least 18. Teenagers are more likely to get into accidents and plus the umbrella or hired and non owned coverage most of these places carry aren't likely to let 16 and 17 year olds drive.

I went by the mill recently.... it was sad seeing that place almost shut down. A lot of my friends worked there and made good money back about 40 years ago.
I hate it too. I was there for a couple of years on a construction project and there are a lot of good people who work there.

So yea, you definitely don't need an adult for these jobs. Certainly not sign holder on the sidewalk.

I'm 99.9% certain pizza places aren't allowed to let 16 year olds make time sensitive food deliveries. I'm pretty sure the age 16 requirement was for inside help only. Plus if you think you know how to operate a pizza restaurant that offers delivery then feel free to open one up. Let us know how easy it is for you to staff the place.

It's also hilarious you all keep bringing up the "sign holder on the sidewalk". You guys are really reaching on that one. I haven't seen one of those in Knoxville in over 10 years.
