120k a year isn’t enough

I'm 99.9% certain pizza places aren't allowed to let 16 year olds make time sensitive food deliveries. I'm pretty sure the age 16 requirement was for inside help only. Plus if you think you know how to operate a pizza restaurant that offers delivery then feel free to open one up. Let us know how easy it is for you to staff the place.

It's also hilarious you all keep bringing up the "sign holder on the sidewalk". You guys are really reaching on that one. I haven't seen one of those in Knoxville in over 10 years.
Maybe you should call all these places setting 16 year age minimums for delivery and gripe at them. They certainly don't see a need for adults. But then again, unskilled jobs are more flexible.

As for sign holders, they're out in Memphis every day.

How about you call them later today and ask them the minimum age requirements for delivery drivers.

You honestly think a commercial insurance carrier is going to allow 16 year olds to make food deliveries? Imagine the rates that franchisee would have to pay as well.

I don't live in Memphis. There's also a good possibility that someone who is outside holding a sign is already employed in another capacity. Second, why you would pay someone to just hold a sign when you can put several on the side of the road or market your business for free on social media.

You're really reaching on this sign holder nonsense lol.

Just like you and your crew stated that people could just be pulled off the street and trained to be a CNA within an hour.

I don't need to call anyone. I can look at the job postings.

Why would someone hire a sign holder? I don't know. Maybe their business is off the street and they want cheap visible signage that traffic can see.

Why don't you call Buff City Soap in Knoxville and ask them why they're hiring someone to hold a sign.

Lol. I think you should call them and ask them why they would hire 16 year olds to drive. And I highly doubt Bluff City Soap is getting a high number of applicants for that position. Why work there for $11 when they can go to Chik Fil A, Panda Express, Walmart and Costco and make more.

Dude, I saw one this morning. Lol.

I know Little Caesars used to have someone holding a sign. Likely someone already employed there. Sometimes you'd see 2 or 3 people.

Anyways, I'm waiting for them to show me the DOL requirements on time sensitive food delivery drivers.

I also think these guys need to open up their own restaurant. They have it all figured out and they can train people in a matter of minutes.

They should do provide some comedy relief at times.

So your hope of saving face here is claiming these ads are purposely showing job openings that conflict with dept of labor rules?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!

That is stupid as hell and totally in character for you 🤡

Here's another business you can gripe at because you think they're wrong.

That's the nice thing about unskilled jobs. You have a lot of freedom of choice.

You’ve already been proven wrong Curly. The weight is ON YOU to show that the dept of labor rules conflict with those listings.

So you prove all of us wrong! 🤡
This information isn't hard to find. And should not be hard to find for someone who got their bachelor's degree in the 1980s. There is an invention called Google these days that can help you.

Donjo is correct here. Title 29, Part 520 Subpart E in section 570.52 of the Code of Federal Regulations state that minors are not supposed to operate a motor vehicle on public roads to make “Time Sensitive Deliveries” which is further defined as
The term urgent, time-sensitive deliveries means trips which, because of such factors as customer satisfaction, the rapid deterioration of the quality or change in temperature of the product, and/or economic incentives, are subject to time-lines, schedules, and/or turn-around times which might impel the driver to hurry in the completion of the delivery. Prohibited trips would include, but are not limited to, the delivery of pizzas and prepared foods to the customer; the delivery of materials under a deadline (such as deposits to a bank at closing); and the shuttling of passengers to and from transportation depots to meet transport schedules.

The burden rests on you Curly. Get cracking on that, cracker!

LMAO. I got some things to do this evening Proctor. So this is the last round of the game of "Dallas" I can participate in this afternoon. I might be back on tonight.
You learned the actual federal code the same time we did here Curly. You had no damn idea you just know your boss told you at one time you couldn’t deliver the pizzas it was the law.

Prove me wrong 🤡

Lol. I even stated that I was 99.9% certain you had to be 18 to deliver food. That's why it is a requirement that delivery drivers be at least 18 years of age at places like Dominos and Pizza Hut for example.

You can't even take the loss and move on. Honestly I was having fun seeing you guys embarrass yourselves once again. I'm actually relieved someone else corrected you all this time. I'm honestly surprised your pal Hill didn't do it.

Now I've got better things to do for a few hours. I'll participate in a game of "Dallas" another time.

Oh yeah. Three more words for you. Russian Wheat Exports.

You never provided a single piece substantive proof of your claim. As usual. It’s what you always do. Somebody else posted the actual code paragraph and I even posted more detail on it than you have this far. You will never convince me you knew the actual code behind it because you didn’t. Some body you worked for told you you couldn’t do it. That’s it Curly somebody else had to bail you out because as usual you were just talking out your ass with no actual knowledge of your own 🤡

Prove me wrong.

I was busy at the time lol. That wasn't the link or links I would have provided. It was funny that you were gloating LMAO. And now you are getting all worked up again like you did with the Russian Wheat Exports.

That's why I suggested that Deeble or whoever posted all those job postings from Indeed call the employer directly. You can apply at 16 but they will want to put you somewhere else in the restaurant but not as a delivery driver. I believe I even explained that as well. The job postings were a bit misleading so I'm kind of being nice and giving you all a pass on this one.

Anyways. I'll play a game of "Dallas" another time.
