Henry was committed to Georgia for a long time and was actually trying to recruit other players to UGa before he backed out of committment. He has not tried to recruit players to Bama (Saban does not need the help) but you and the other naysayers will learn his decision soon enough.
If you heard Henry during his interview yesterday he made it clear that he is not afraid of competition so the fact UT is recruiting Green will not deter him from signing with UT. I cannot say that Green is not a better back than Henry because I have not personally seen Green play, but if he is, Green has to be one heck of a back. I doubt he is better.
Yes Rooster-Henry to UT.
Actually I disagree with your assessment of winning the big game when recruits are in town. Coaching stability is a huge factor but the fact a team wins or loses a particular game usually is not a deciding factor. They typically consider the overall visit and how comfortable they felt with the campus and staff.
The poster on VQ who shared info after being at Henry's game last week is still saying Vol. This poster is also a UF fan who opened his account this month. He's either a very respectful troll and getting his kicks out of giving Vol fans false hope OR he's a family member/close friend of Henry. He said he'll reveal some more info after the announcement which makes me think (if he's telling the truth) that he's a family member. Because didn't Henry grow up a gator fan? Which means his family likely is as well.
Anyway, not trying to give anyone false hope here just sharing this info. This poster signed up a month ago (paying $) and has only posted about Henry from what I can tell.
Here's his latest posts from this morning...
This guy is either going to be exposed as a time wasting troll or become a hero on VQ and possibly VN...we'll see this afternoon!

Unless you are good at doing it. Saban is usually the most predictable coach on plays regarding offense. Very seldom does he use trick plays. For UA under Saban it is always about can the other team stop UA.
If you the players to perform the call or in the case play under center and use a FB it is the other team that has to stop them. It now comes down to talent.
That may be true, but both have their own disadvantages, too. Using a FB telegraphs where you are going with the ball, and taking snaps under center means you lose precious seconds when you pass (during the 3-7 step drops). Plus the QB has his back turned to the defense on a play-action.
On the long bomb to Z.Rodgers, we ran out of the Pistol. I like it. Chaney had Rivera lined up as the H-Back, so it's a good option to turn to from time to time. No reason to scrap it.

That's bs. No one knows that, it's just speculation. He's played one position since he was 5yo...RB. And so what if he does end up at H-back or LB in college, UT can't use one of those? The kid is 6'3" 243lbs and runs a sub 4.5 40yd dash. He'd be one of the best athletes on UT's roster day 1. You don't want him? I do.
