In the Trent Taylor thread he said Florida passed on him cause he wasn't good enough. Then when he commits to UT Waco proclaims that it is a huge get for UT and the rest of the league should take notice of this recruting land. I think Taylor will turn out to be a solid player but if you can't see the sarcasm in the majority of waco's past post then we'll have to agree to disagree.

UT also has 1 SEC Championship appearance the last 6 years, the same amount as UGA and South Carolina.

So why has Notre Dame and Michigan(pre-2011) been able to recruit in the top 15?

Almost all of Tennessee games are on t.v. against fbs schools and UT can offer being the best conference in the country and SEC championship games. Notre Dame can't offer that, all they can offer is the hope of going to a top bowl game. A lot of their rivalries are dead now. Both Notre Dame and USC players say they don't even consider the game a rivalry.

Do you not remember how many coaches Alabama had in the past 6 years before Saban got there? Kiffin landed a "ranked" top 10 class his first year here and was on the verge of getting a "ranked" top 5 class.
