'13 FL RB Derrick Henry (Bama commit)

Its his choice not yours. Whats the point of talking trash about him?

Excuse me. I don't see anything about my statement as trash talking him. I simply insinuated that Alabama has too many good backs, and they've added another...leaving doubts that he will make an immediate impact there as opposed to at UT. Where do you see that as trash talking about him?

Good luck to this young man, and I hope he gets to actually play, but this one still doesn't make sense to me logically (It does financially, however). If you wanted to actually PLAY running back anytime soon, there's one of the 3 schools that were on the table that has an immediate vacancy (relatively), and that's the us, the Vols. He would be a big fish in a small pond here at the RB position, while he's going to a school where he's a goldfish cracker in an ocean of RB's. Good luck to him, but I just don't understand it.

We lose out on this kid, i think we were in it till the end.

i really hate to lose out on this kid, we now have to close with green if possible.

i will be happy to take green if we can get him, i really thought that we would get henry.

we have to get a big time running back in this class in not 2 or 3, we have to get one and MR. GREEN JUST WENT TO THE TOP OF THE LIST!

Dooley and staff need to keep working on closing the deal we almost had henry, if they keep at it we will land the big-time running back we are lacking.

GO BIG ORANGE!

He was already there my man. That is our silver lining.

. This... What the hell are these kids thinking? If i was a recruit, there is no way i go.to a team that is loaded with 5* talent. Not afraid of competition, i would just wanna play instead of sitting the bench..

It's pretty easy. He wants to play for a winner.

You were definitely talking down to him. "He will enjoy the next few years in the shadows of their other backs," isn't trash talking? You are saying he isn't good enough to play for Bama in the next 3 years when me and you both have no idea.

He may just like Bama better, its his choice not yours.

+ 16 for 94 yards against wake Forrest. That totals 159 yards.

Savannah state and Murray state totaled 126. I am not sure where bowling is getting his stats. I posted a direct link... But this convo has moved on already

The original post said the majority of his yards came against Wake and Murray. You argued less than half were vs those two. So I posted Wake and Murray stats. Not Clemson and Sav St.

If you were a kid would you go to a school that hasn't been to a bcs bowl game in almost 10 years?

I know 2nd place is just the 1st loser but if if we keep going head to head UA in recruiting with this kind of talent UT will win some of the battles.
