I'm a person of earning things rather than having them handed to me. Going to Alabama is as close to being handed a national championship as it gets these days. Using a metaphor, I'd rather be the guy to drag the burning man from a car than to be the one who pulls over to the side and watches.

So what is your reaction when a player chooses Vandy or Miss State over UT?
I would go to a team where i could play early... Who really gives a crap about the BCS bowls.. yeah its nice and i understand where your coming from, but do you wanna play, or sit the bench?
You were definitely talking down to him. "He will enjoy the next few years in the shadows of their other backs," isn't trash talking? You are saying he isn't good enough to play for Bama in the next 3 years when me and you both have no idea.
He may just like Bama better, its his choice not yours.
