Saban doesn't subscribe to the Phil Failure Seniority System. He'll play whoever can get the job done, regardless of class (e.g., TJ Yeldon).

I'm a person of earning things rather than having them handed to me. Going to Alabama is as close to being handed a national championship as it gets these days. Using a metaphor, I'd rather be the guy to drag the burning man from a car than to be the one who pulls over to the side and watches.

On the flip side of that is the fact that Henry will have to earn every carry he gets there as opposed to be handed them here

He will have to earn his starting job at Bama. It is much harder to become a starter at Bama than at UT so using your logic, he made the right decision.

Nah, I'd rather be a champion and play for a coach that turns kids into 1st round draft picks in the NFL than for a coach thats on everybody's hot seat.

First off, I should say I'm biased. So if he chose Vandy over us I would never understand that, they're going no where. However, if he chose Ole Miss or MSU I could understand. He'd get good playing time for a team that is 2 or 3 players from being a serious competitor (like ourselves)

How do you know he can't? We have no idea how its going to play out. He may not care about playing early as much as he does playing for championships. 10 years ago would you have chose Bama over UT?

He may just like Bama better, its his choice not yours.

Yeah it IS his choice. But I'm free to feel like he would've made more impact at UT. Bama is stacked at RB so the odds are against him. I don't think I was talking down to him but thanks mom for pointing that out.
