'13 FL RB Derrick Henry (Bama commit)

Maybe you should be coach if its so easy. Hey Derrick I know I didn't coach any of these guys but you shoul come here because they did. Saban got guys to bama not because of bama his first 3 yrs but because of his success at lsu. Dabo and chizik are helped by corrupt boosters and paying players. Richt is although on hot seat had proven track record. If Dooley wins he will get elite guys if not the he will not be our coach. Chill
What a stupid argument. No one said it was easy. The point is that we could have got these recruiting classes with Elmer Fudd as our coach.
Elite coaches are master recruiters, brilliant game planners, and out coach their opponents whether its pre game planning or in game adjustments.
Dooley has shown absolutely zero ability to do any of these.

Michigan does not need Derrick Green right away. While academics are high on his list- business is a point of interest. UT has a tremendous business school. The number one thing for Derrick Green is that he play right away. UT makes that happen for him. Hope he commits soon!!!

If he does, this place will be unbearable.
From what I've noticed.....
State of the program=State of volnation

I like the fact that people are disgruntled. Give me something to be excited about and I'll get excited. The ones who really get me are the ones who think one's outlook on UT football correlates to their outlook on life and such. And the ones who act like what we say and think actually affect the outcome of the game.
Dooley needs to go now. I'll bet we wouldn't lose as many recruits as people think. If we bring in a big name, it could actually kick start something.

Sorry, but I have a hard time when facts are misrepresented. 2012 U.S News "Best Business Schools":
No. 13 University of Michigan - Ann Arbor (Ross)
No. 64 University of Tennessee (behind Vandy, Georgia, Florida, Arkansas, etc.)

Our running back situation is definately better than Mich. Fitz is really the only dependable back they have. Green would play from day 1. And they have a coach who can recruit and wins despite what Rich Rod left him.

I said tremendous, not US New #1. It was an accurate statement. Sorry for your comment being an improper douchy ignorant statement. Hope it doesn't reflect the person making it... who knows?

I disagree. Michigan has Dymonte Thomas, Deveon Smith, Dennis Norfleet, and Fitz Toussaint is a JR. He might leave, but Michigan, compared to our running philosophy, is completely different. Dooley- outside of popular believe- is a run first guy. He came up in Vince Dooley's home and played for Welsh at UVA- Mr. Run First himself.
Outside of that, UT needs and wants his style of running. They did a lot to make him know that he was our #1 guy. I hope he makes the right choice-- UT!

Are you serious? The 'State of VolNation' shifts around like a fart in the wind... This is one of the dumbest things I've read on here lately...

Wow, another brilliant statement.. Not saying that we don't need a new coach but firing Dooley now, especially without a plan and no successor ready to IMMEDIATELY take his place is just stoooopid... It would be a disaster...

You have to be a rival fan troll....

You sure like your own opinions don't you. Sorry I misread how the nature of volnation is. Didn't mean to get your panties in a wad.

Why would firing Dooley now be a disaster all knowing genius? Put an interim tag on a coordinator, maybe Sal, and let the search begin. What recruits would we lose that would even mean ****?

Please shed more of your infinite wisdom on me.

DH getting it done thus far in this game. I had given him my login info and saw he responded to someone who said "didnt want him anyways". Lol.

BS.

Dooley has had the least talent of any head coach at UT since Majors took over in '77.

Brilliant coaches cannot make up the difference of a roster missing 18 scholarship players by sending true freshmen and sophomores to compete with elite teams that go 3 deep at every position.

Want to see how Dooley really stacks up against the rest of the SEC's coaches? Quit your whining and give him this season to develop his team and build the roster with recuriting.

2013 is the year that Dooley should be judged on - it is obvious that this year we are still climbing out of the masive hole dug by Fulmer & Kiffin.

if you're truly interested in learning why we have been so bad for the past 5 years, see the details posted at link below

What the hell people? Stop throwing a freaking hissy fit. The kid wasn't coming here any way. We are in good shape with the RB that we really want the most. Don't act like somebody took a piss in your Cheerios.

Exactly. I felt like this one has been over for awhile. Really doesn't bother me at all now.

No doubt. Doesn't even phase me either b/c I knew better. We were running second the whole time. He's been Bama bound since the visit that caused him to decommit from GA.

Heard all these excuses last year. We got beat by FL worse this year than last year. Half of our coaches jumped ship for same jobs at ****ing Washington. Dooleys best recruit isn't on the team anymore.

2013? There's a good chance we could be worse next year!

We can't afford to have Dooley getting outcoached every time we play a team worth a damn.

So if Ga hands us our own butts in Athens tomorrow than that's cool with you I guess. Got it.

OW I agree.

The most obvious thing people are missing is the progress in recruiting from the 2010 season until now.

In 2010, big name recruits like Derrick Henry were not taking official visits to Knoxville.

In 2012, it seems to be very common for high profile recruits to take official visits to Tennessee.

Everybody just chill out and let CDD finish what he started.

It's not CDD's fault we sucked in '08 & '09.

And the Saban comparison is played out - Bama was LOADED with talent when Saban got there in 2007 and he still went 7-6 including a loss to Louisiana Monroe.
