This question has probably been answered but I can't find it. Is he eligible for this fall?

Yep immediately eligible a second a grad transfer. Not sure when he arrives, my guess is with the freshmen who didn't EE.

What do we expect from Wiggins? Solid depth player or competes for a starting spot? I have seen zero gameplay from him since he left Georgia. Very low cost either way

It'd hard to know. I would guess our staff didn't pursue him to let him ride the bench for 1 year. He has great speed, which our secondary desperately needed a good jolt of.

Shaq and Nigel roaming around out there is gonna have our defense looking a lot better this season imo.

Good player that will compete for playing time. Gives us really good depth now with a lot of experience in the SEC.

Buchanan SO
Wiggins SR

Then in August we'll have Labruzza, Bailey, & Shamburger

Plus Gaulden as a RS JR (assuming he sticks at NB and doesn't get moved to safety)

- He's 100% done. Committed to Tennessee, coming to Tennessee. Not taking any more visits.
- Planning to enroll June 1.
- Really happy to be back in the SEC. Happy for his time at Louisville but said it was time for a change, and he said no one could offer a better combination of big program, good team, great stadium, huge fan base, SEC exposure and CB need than Tennessee. Said Vols had it all, and he liked them as a HS prospect, too, so it's a great situation for him and one he's really excited about.
- Said he can't control what people think about Tennessee being his third program, but that things happen for a reason, and that he's never been in trouble, never been late or missed anything, never failed a drug test, never had a problem with grades, has his college degree, etc., and that at the end of the day he's comfortable with the people who really know him knowing him and know what he's about.
- Said it's "crazy" to think about coming back to Neyland after coming up there with the Dawgs and playing a great, hard-fought OT game, but that he's always really liked Neyland and is excited to start calling it home.

I can dig it. In this day and age a kid with a degree that still wants to play the game is a welcome addition.

I'm sure most people assume he had some issues, but can't really say anything bad about this commitment. Sure it's his third program, but like he said. Never failed a drug test, never late, and has his degree. Sounds like this is a win win situation.

The potential impact that comes with the addition of grad transfer Shaq Wiggins can't be understated. His talent is up there and he has experience. So why leave Louisville? We are told that Wiggins likes to do a lot of talking and after having success against the Cards receivers, fell out of favor with head coach Bobby Petrino due to his banter. That led to a rift and when his defensive coordinator and position coach left, he took the opportunity to start fresh instead of playing one more year for the Cards.

So he's a, dare I say, dog? Match him against JJ day one and video it please

"Real recognize real"

If Shaq's got that dog in him the same way JJ does, they'll probably have it out a fair share between the lines and in scrimmage type situations. But I bet they'll respect the hell out of each other (if that is the case).
