Only way Bama would have been able to help lacy get in was to pay off his HS in Louisiana of all places to change his grades and someone else take his ACT/SAT test. Not to mention he would have had to be cleared by the NCAA. LSU didnt put up a fight either.

I realize what I am about to say might not sit to well with some of you but WTF, here goes.. Some of you need to chill.. NONE of you were there and NONE of you know what really happened.. Some here calling Dismuke a racist, saying he should be kicked off the team.. Some saying Malzahn should be fired.. Good grief, step back and take a deep breath..

People are way to freaked out over the 'N' word.. Am I saying it should be used regularly to insult people? NO, but people do get pissed and let things fly out of their mouths that they may not normally say. Someone gets mad and says "I'm gonna kill you". Does it mean that someone is going to kill? Normally no, their mad and spouting off.. Some of these recruits are pretty arrogant fellers. MAYBE Foster was being an A-hole and pissed Dismuke off and in the heat of anger the 'N' word flew out.. Does it mean he is a racist scumbag that should be kicked off the team? Maybe/maybe not, who knows. Maybe it just means he blurted out the wrong choice of words.. Much like someone gets really mad and might blurt out "you f__kin a__hole" or you "sorry piece of sh_t".. Equally offensive in the heat of anger but if Dismuke had used those terms would we be talking about this today? I doubt it..

Understand, I am not advocating the use of the 'N' word no more than I am advocating the use of other derogatory comments intended to make another angry.. All I'm saying is it happens. People get angry and say stupid sh!t all the time. Be careful not to assume you know the intent of their heart based on the words that come out of their mouths alone.. Quit being so freaked out over one damn word in the English language..

I look forward to the day when we look back and say "Wasn't the period of political correctness funny? I can't believe we used to get so butt hurt over the dumbest things".. Unfortunately I don't think I will live that long.

Some of the people wanting Dismuke kicked off the team would be the people saying everyone deserves a second chance come to Tennessee.

From AU Rivals -

I continue to believe Auburn remains a serious player for Reuben Foster. I found that hard to believe after Saturday, but the more I dig and talk to people, I think Auburn remains a major player for sure.

Have not seen anything confirmed but a few posters say that but not from anyone with credibilty.

BTW is was already scheduled to announce tom. night on some recruiting show at 9pm. It will probably leak earlier because the show will be taped at 6pm.

TW, someone on AU board posted this and was wondering if Bone really said.

From A. Bone's Nuggets: "All signs still point to 5* Reuben Foster signing with Auburn unless something changes in the next 48 hours." TIFWIW.

Not sure how old that is but Bone changes his predictions with whatever the current flavor is. This was posted by Bone in the last hour.

I've continued to say Reuben Foster to Auburn. That has been the case for a while.

The visit to Tuscaloosa yesterday was huge.

Lets just say my prediction has changed as I predict Foster to Alabama.

We'll see what happens.....

I think one thing we should take away from this recruiting season is what we already should have known, none of these insiders, writers, etc. have the slightest idea where these kids are going to end up.

Orr and Redfish have been fairly accurate regarding bama recruits compared to others but thats probably because they are in the program and have better relationships with members of the coaching staff. Alot of these other so called insiders just run with other people's info and rumors.

Spanish Fort is a suburb of Mobile and you can't tell where it starts and ends. IMO, its one of the nicer areas of Mobile, hardly redneck.

Last week I would have bet anything on Laremy Tunsil signing with UGA, now it seems he will end up at Ole Miss.

The way money is getting throwed around makes it even more harder. Some of these programs are tired of losing and not being a contender. Any means necessary approach.
