Winning is the only reason we're having problems. If we had stayed healthy and kept winning we would've pulled a top back. We were all over college gameday before Hunter and Bray got hurt. All the coaches would've done was show Poole run up the back of Linemen(that's what they showed to Mike Davis). Who wouldn't want to be the RB that gets to run against 7 man fronts all game? But we didn't win last year so it doesn't matter.
SN: why the hell do you even post? I mean why don't you just go somewhere. You don't like Dooley so why do come in every thread taking a shot at UT football? Why don't you just sit back and stfu until after the season. This shxt is getting old.
I post because I choose to do so. You don't have to like my opinion. You have claimed to have ignored me about 37 times now. Maybe you should actually do it and stop crying like a little girl everytime someone says something you do not like. We do not have to love everything about UT football to be a fan.
-VQ."I know they recruited Tauren Poole from Stephens County," Dye said. "I watched him when he was in high school. I think they would be a team I'm really interested in if I get to know them better. I've Facebooked with coach (Jay) Graham a few times and he seems like a good coach. I want to talk to him more and get to know the program better."
Was glad when I read that we were still in on this kid. Dye, Kamara, and Turman 3 backs I want. Two out of three would make me happy.
Those would be my Top-3 realistic RBs I would like UT to land, off the top of my head anyway.
I still really want UT to land Cornelius Elder and give him about 12-15 carries a game, but I don't think there is too much mutual interest. Hopefully UT can pick up their recruitment in Elder and his interest in UT will pick up in result of that.
It is very early, but ATP I see Dye going to Clemson or Auburn. Probably Clemson. I think they have had the lead for awhile. I'm thinking Ryan Green is for sure ND or UF/FSU. Derrick Green will be a Buckeye. Not sure on Turman, but for some reason I really like UT's chances with Kamara (especially if UT can show a half-way decent run game this year).
I see UT ending up signing 2 RBs this class (an elite back and a lesser known back). I would predict Alvin Kamara and someone like Deuce Turner out of Ohio. I would be fine with that.

I can see us taking Kamara and another big time back that'll pop up out of nowhere. Don't know if we'll take too many projects anymore. We've got enough projects at RB(Tom Smith, Alden Hill, Que Watson).
Dream scenario would be two of those three plus Derrick Henry.
As strange as this may sound, I don't want to be in the position that Georgia is in, with 8,000 big-name running backs. It's not like they're running the ball enough to give everybody carries. While I understand you gotta have depth, at what point are you stockpiling guys who won't ever see the field?
Where I'm coming from is we have a roster with one Junior, Sophomore, and Freshman four-star running backs. Dooley's stated that he wants to have three backs to rotate, with one main guy to handle the mail. So what's the balance there?
I see where your coming from. However, I also look at it as no matter how much work coaches put into evaluating players, they are still taking a risk on them as there is alot of unknowns about how they will develop. So I can also see the philosophy of loading up on a position and letting the chips fall where they may (which it appears we are trying do with the Jack LB position this year). Loading up gives you an insurance policy (as somebody is bound to develop), and competition for the starting spot. Just look at Alabama the past few years.
