'13 GA RB Tyshon Dye

I agree, he reminds me of Trent, too. The trait Trent possesses that Dye doesn't is that phenomenal acceleration. I watched the NCG highlights and that one run for about 30 yds for a TD, TR hit full speed in like 2 steps, lol.

TR probably also some more bulk.

TR biggest weapon was his strength. I have not seen a RB as strong as him. I am not even sure many football players are. TR was pushing 500 on the bench, he complained during the season they would not let him past 475 last fall on the bench, 600 squat, and 365 on powerclean. He was also state HS weightlifting champion. Combine that with his speed he was just clocked with a 4.4 40. I doubt we will see another RB like that for a while.

FWIW here is a great video on TR preparing for the draft. amazed at how quick he was picking up that blitz on the video.

How about this beast at RB. He's a 2013 prospect at RB. Saw this video on VQ. Watch until the end to see him in the weight room. Unreal...

Nice video and seems like a stud. Just like TR and very polished on the field. Also not bad for a HS kid max 455 on the bench. TR was just over 400 coming out of HS. But in college TR does regular reps with 475. He biggest complaint is the coaches will not let him see what his max is.

BTW where is this kid looking?

Supposed to have interest/heard from Wisc., Bama, Maryland and UT. There is another youtube video out there with an interview. Just have to search his name.

This video is when TR and Demps were juniors at the 2008 state meet. Now we know how fast Demps is and no player in college was close to his speed, especially considering he gave up football to focus on the olympics. But what some people do not realize is how quick TR is. I think his best time in the 100m was 10.5 and in this meet I think he finished with around 10.8 and Demps finsihed with a 10.4, but in the 1st 40 meters+ TR was toe to toe with Demps, which says alot about his quickness, especially when you compare the size of the 2.

Demps is in lane 4, TR is in lane 1. Again Demps blows out the field but watch the 1st part. That acceralation I think is what made TR so hard to bring down around the line.

Sorry now back to Dye.:)

Poster on VQ said he has heard from us but no offer ATP.

OMG, this guy is crazy strong! that is what your would call Trent Richardson elite strength!

Nice video. Cool to see how they zoomed in on those blocks. Not many RB highlights show them blocking!

I apologize for derailing Tyshon's thread. I started a new one for Ayres if a mod wants to clean this up. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Dye, Ayers, Kamara, and Green are interchangeable to me. Any one of those kids I would love to get. Oh and Corn Elder. OCI said last night that as of now we probably get two out of Dye, Kamara, and Elder!

That is what is nice about the 2013 class for RB. It is one of the deepest RB classes I have seen in a long time.

Kamara's speed puts him on a level by himself when it comes to APBs. Especially with his hands to go with that speed. I think Dye is the best big back out there. Corn Elder is very good-Steve Slaton type of back, but I still would love to see him in the slot.
