vol202020 you know that when you are on an offical visit you wear that teams colors and don't be a dick.

I hate when bama fans get on here and make up ****

We will see ...

:eek:lol: You're back...

I can see it now.. If Bell does go elsewhere this.... uhhhh... person will come on here and say "See, I told you so..." "I'm BFFs with Von and he told me so" "nana nana boo boo"...

However, if Bell signs with UT this.... uhhhh... person will do the fart in the wind troll vanishing act...

Ahhh, the life of a troll...

To be fair, a lot of our players got trucked/missed tackles yesterday.

Moore already has 4 picks and took one back to the house..I don't see a reason he shouldn't be playing.

The picks are good but he's got to start tackling in the run game. Two yard gains are turning into twelve yard gains after he gets stiff armed and run through.

Man you ain't never lied...you can see it coming before it happens, he caught it bad this weekend.

He's flying up to the ball and stopping for some reason. Need to just run through the man and be done with it. McNeil is tackling like a young EB already. Love how he and Coleman are playing vs. the run so far.

McNeil just clearly has no fear. He dives right in for the legs and knees like a missle and chops the runner down immediately. There will be no stiff arming him thats for sure.

I enjoyed the suplex that Coleman had against Mitchell on that bobbled pitch. He wasn't content to just hold on, he wanted to slam him down. We need that mean streak in the secondary.

Coleman started playing like that late in the year last year vs. Arkansas. Made some hard tackles vs. Dennis Johnson in open field by himself. Watch him grow at CB.

I hope him and Bonner grow a lot this year, because I am absolutely worried about that position next year. Really my only concern. This secondary could really use a Ramsey or Alexander back there because after Coleman and Bonner its a lot of unproven (but potentially good) talent in Gray, Thomas etc.

Bonner is unproven as well as Coleman. :) you've got to go ahead and play these guys though.

Gray may end up as the best cover guy out of the group. The CBs will be better when we get #23 out of the lineup.

We can't really play the style of defense we want with some of these guys lining up in Orange. You have to just roll the dice sometimes and roll with the young guys. The older CBs outside of Gordon aren't playing well.

23 needs to be in the lineup but not in his current postion that for sure.. move him back to S. He makes much more plays there

I agree that they have to play to develop some confidence and experience, but am I the only one expecting just as many growing pains next year? I think overall talent wise, next year we will be better off with our CB's, but I still think we are a year away with that unit and wish we could bring in a Ramsey or Alexander for that reason.

I do think having Randolph back, McNeil, adding JRM, hopefully Miles and Bell will be a great step forward towards letting our CB's play with more confidence tho. Those are some quality safties right there IMO.

You bring in a Ramsey or Alexander even if you're loaded. And Bonner was on the same level as HS prospect as those two guys.

Gray and Tino Thomas are the same caliber of athletes as those two guys(well maybe not Ramsey lol). But those guys need to be playing now with how bad the secondary is looking.

Don't know why we won't let Tino Thomas come in for Brewer in 3rd and long situations.

I agree about Tino. Even if he makes a mistake, he has a better chance of recovering than Brewer.

they attacked coleman early and he didn't give up a big play and wraped up good. I like him.

Article up on 247 about his visit to Bama. Not a whole lot to report. The kid is playing it close to the chest.

UT, Bama, and tOSU battle. I think tOSU falls behind in the long-run. UT/Bama in the end.

He's going to be a Vol. We just need to take care of business on the field.
