this is going to get very ugly when bray, patterson, and hunter jump ship. next year has 4 wins all over it IMO. Oregon will score 70 on this team. think bray leaves as hunter and patterson will be gone. hope i'm wrong on all accounts.

Sal wont scheme to the players strenghts, that would go against what he wants to do. He is game planning like we have Bama or LSu talent on defense. We dont have the back end talent to do what is being asked of our lbackers.

What worries me about this game, is Mizzu's defense is capable of stopping our offense a few times and our defense isn't capable of stopping a troop of Girl Scouts! Bray and company, will have to win the game this weekend too, just like they did against Troy. Last year the defense kept us in the game, this year it's the offense. The Defense, doesn't look like it bothers to get out of bed!

Yeah made a comment in a earlier post, the coaches and players feel like they have to score every time they touch the ball regardless of situation. Sometimes that starts to build pressure up on the players and apparently CJC.

Moore wouldn't be playing right now. McNeil would've replaced him by now hopefully. But with this staff who knows.

Give me Florida's defense and their offensive coordinator. We beat Bama bad.

I agree mcneil would be starting by now, or should have. But i also think Bonner should have been playing long ago. I just keep thinking of Bonner giving DR fits back in the summer, it was fun to watch. I hear the reason Bonner is not playing, he doesnt have the play calls down very well. I honestly feel you could stick him 1 on 1 with any teams second wr and shrink the field. Im afraid when he does see the field they will ask him to do to much and not let him just play.

Play calls? It seems like we run man to man 90% of the time. I'm not really sure what he needs to learn.

They run cover 1. What's so complicated about that? The coaches are full of it if that's their reason. I swear I can't stand this coaching staff outside of Graham and Pittman. If Ansley is making the calls for certain players in the secondary I'm wanting him gone now. If it's coming from Sal, well you know where I'm at with him. And Dooley is at practice as a head coach you should be able to see certain things. The problems we have aren't things that are sooo intricate we can't at the least help them.

Unless he's primetime a CB is going to get killed when he thinks he's running a receiver on a post to a safety that's not there. Coming out of the break he will take a completely different angle because it's supposed to look like your trailing so a dumb QB can throw right to the safety in the middle of the field.

Thats the word floating around. A lot of people are asking the same questions wondering why Bonner doesnt see the field. All anyone would have to do is ask any of our wide outs who the best cover man is. Its really mind boggling.

Wasn't talking about Bonner in particular was talking about any CB. Do you know how hard 5 yards on a post route you've given to a WR is to make up? Damn near impossible to make a play on the ball if the WR and QB are any good. Only thing you can do is make a tackle and blow on the safety for leaving you out to dry.

A lot of rival coaches have the picture of the rock that was painted for Dooley. These kids are being told every day the fans want our coaches gone and anything else they can think of. Carr and Miles are the 2 i would be worried about as far as current commits are concerned. I think we're still in great shape with koehler. I think North would already be a vol and Green would end up a vols if things were settled down a bit. They're taking a wait and see approach.

#10 should have stayed on the offensive side imo. I cringe every time i see him on the field as a db.

I was curious if you just meant the negative recruiting from other schools or that Dooley and the staff were not doing well in recruiting. Whether he stays or goes, hopefully the situation with Dooley is resolved very quickly.

This is what kills me with Sal. He is not putting our players in position to succeed.

A lot of people don't realize we don't have the front end talent to run this defense right now. This idiot is trying to make square a circle. The best talent on defense is young so he should've realized it early and rolled with it. The older guys like Willie Bo(who's our best pass rusher outside of a healthy Maggitt) fit a 4-3 much better. Lathers is too small to play ILB in the 3-4. Sal should've realized this in the spring. I can't believe he's such a damn bust as a coordinator. It's like he's just realizing this IS NOT working now.

At this point, we need to make a decision in order for recruiting to stabilize. I do not think this staff is the answer. We need to get a guy in here that recruits are excited to play for. I do not see what the difference will be next year if we keep Dooley. The schedule is miserable and we likely lose our offensive playmakers. If we do not make a change this year, the rival coaches will use the same tactics next year as well as far as recruiting goes.
