Win 2 out of 3 and that is the likely outcome. Thats not what people want to hear, but thats what its sounding like at the moment.
Extension talk is silly. I would rather start over with a Taggert type hire, than hang on to Dooley for this mediocre ass recruiting class. Which has a way better chance of falling apart, than improving.
In before someone says but.. but... we have a chance at Carl Lawson though. No we don't.
Hubbs said its over if he loses 1 more for sure sorry but beating Kentucky and vandy only in SEC in a 3rd year doesn't give u an extension or a vote of confidence I'm sure harts guy is smart anyway
You just said last week an announcement not looking good for Dooley lol .... Tie that with al your misses lately no way your in the AD first of al you'd be fired secondly you have bad info
Probably all the backtracking by everyone else he was getting his opinion from.
After the Grudenites formed up, Chavis all the sudden got a source saying the same things they were saying...
Strange dontcha think
Hubbs doesnt know what hart is thinking, sry. A change may happen even if we win out if some other issues get taken care of. Only 1 other man knows for sure what Hart is thinking of doing right now, its not any of us in here or any other peon working within the ad and its for sure not anyone that works for a recruiting service. Only thing we know for sure is Gruden will not be coaching here next year unless some serious changes take place, and that probably applies to any big time coach or coach thats a proven winner.
After the Bama loss it looked very bad for Dooley and i thought he was done. Hart will not settle for just anyone thats unproven with the exception of Smart. What people like you fail to realize, so much is out of Harts control. He cant force a big time coach to come here. GRUDEN wants nothing to do with this place in its current state. We couldnt even get Muschamp to take the HC position while he was a dc, all these coaches know whats going on here. Why you think someone like Dooley could get the buyout he has?
What changes need to be made? Who will have to make them?
For starters we need a Chancellor that cares for athletics. We need the athletic department to be involved with the tutoring of our players so someone like Lanier doesnt slip between the cracks. Tennessee football can support its self financially and then some, but Cheek just takes to much. Its all kinds of little things that need changed. Hopefully the changes start very soon. A lot of important people are really pushing for some changes. Some very prominent boosters have found out recently that money is not all that matters to a coach and now understand some changes need to be made.
Do you think any of these changes will be made at the BOT meeting this week? Is there enough juice to make it happen (coaching change or not)?
Thanks for the reply.
