Rival being stubborn and stupid. He notes that "no one has seen him play a game." But, he also notes that people are going off of film. Is he conceding that Rivals buys haven't even bothered looking at his film? It sounds like the Rivals guys just want to see how he performs for an entire game and verify the film isn't just a highlight reel.

Just curious but how many of the top 100 do y'all think they haven't seen in person? I'm thinking quite a few. This is obviously an excuse to not put him up there because they know where he is going to end up. Pure BS. IMO

No it's not an excuse. They've at least seen most of these kids at camps against guys of equal caliber. Bell hasn't camped yet. Stop with the non-sense. It's not like they said he is terrible. And he isn't committed to us so that excuse needs to be shut down too.

Your kidding yourself if you cant see the bias! It has been like this for too long. I realize he is not committed to us genius, however, to me and others on this board, rivals IS biased toward certain programs. If you cant see that then bless it. Again JMO (just my opinion). If you dont like my opinion, dont read it.

While I agree that Rivals is likely just as biased towards certain programs as all the other services. It's not like some of Bama's players weren't dropped in the most recent rankings as well. Tenpenny is one that stands out to me.

I'm not necessarily trying to say you're wrong, I'm just saying that them slighting Bell may not have to do with us.

That being said...we have definitely been slighted in the past, and I think the Miles drop stinks.

It's whatever.

does it really matter if they are a 5 star or a 4 star? what really matters is how they preform on the field!!! yea you might say that it boost our class ranking but if we play good on the field we will get more higher ranked recruits.

i agree to a point. Many young kids want these rankings so they have "proven" something. Not saying it is the end all for them but many of these high school kids want to be ranked high, and "star power" is something they want. When paysites that rank these kids become bias toward a certain team, it can hurt others. Not specifically saying Tennessee, but in general. JMO though. :)

It did to UTVOL02, now he's no longer with us.
