If he was a vol lock he would of committed a long time ago vonns bro has been telling Jac about Vonn for years!! The vols could have been committed him!! The longer the wait the less of a chance it is the vols. Bama didn't get in the top 3 until they saw how Saban develops his guys year to year and his mom loves Coach Meyer.

If Bell doesn't pick the Vols, he's missing out on something special. Good luck to him where ever he chooses. Just hope he makes the right choice.

how so? I am willing to wager both OSU and Alabama are more successful during his time in college than we will be. And that's not being negative - that's being realistic.

But - either way he's still going to be a Vol barring a major collapse by Dooley this season.

I'd rather be a hater then be simply retarded and delusional enough to believe Dooley is going to lead UT to greater heights than Nick Saban at Alabama or Urban Meyer at Ohio State over the next 3-4 years.

How stupid of me to believe Dooley won't accomplish far greater things than two guys who can claim 5 national championships between them in the past 10 years. Not to mention both programs are just plain better than ours and they always have been regarded as such.

You have to start somewhere. Let him recruit. We recruit SEC talent and we can compete with anybody. Got to get the right people around you. I think Dooley has done that to some degree.

Saying CUM is going to achieve anything close to what he did at UF is pure speculation. He'll have to defeat the SEC teams now anyways.

And Bama hasn't always been regarded as better than UT. During the 90s and early 2000s that was an automatic win for us. Kids didn't go to Bama they went to UT and Florida as far as the SEC goes. He needs to stop with the BS. Because Saban didn't just win big at Mich.State either.

Everything is cyclical. Tennessee has been in a down period for a little while now. Alabama was in the late 90's and early 2000's. LSU, USC, Oklahoma, Michigan, Texas, Florida, FSU, Miami all have had similar down periods in my lifetime. Things change. Better times are ahead.

Yup. During that run of 7 straight in the 90's/00's I was in HS and then college at UT. Bama was an easy W then, I miss those days. Hopefully, this year is a start of another 7 year streak...
