Was gonna visit at some point, but no date. Staff may have made it clear Davis was their priority big from Georgia.

I'd also say that Stephens offer was more than likely conditional. It's hard to wait it out when you have other solid offers in place. That's why i was so interested in how Davis' visit would go and if he would commit. I definitely was interested in Stephens if we couldn't get J3. Actually it would have been a toss up with Stepehns and Davis and it seems Davis is a real possibility in the coming weeks depending on J3.

Davis is a possibility regardless of j3. It appears to me this staff is willing to sign 5. Landry, hubbs, Nichols, j3 and Davis all have committable offers (obviously Landry's committed). Stephens was likely a backup plan to Davis, but the staff feels very good about their chances with Davis.

I could see signing 5. I know I've read that Counzo is looking at filling Jarnell's spot. He obviously feels that Jarnell has the talent to jump to the NBA after this season so I can see him getting prepared to sign 5. With the mindset of only 4 set scholarships to fill, I figured it was going to be a "first to commit" basis with only the hesitation of taking too many post commitments prior to knowing what Nichols will be doing. However, if we sign 5 then Landry, Hubbs, Nichols, JW3 and Davis will do just fine.
