Honolulu (Haw.) St. Louis offensive lineman Reeve Koehler holds over a dozen offers from major college programs, but has trimmed that list to a final five.
Things are going good really good, said Koehler. I had trimmed it down at the start of the year, but it has gone through some changes during the year. Right now it is Tennessee, Kansas, Oregon, California and Hawaii.
Koehler is looking to take official visits to each of the five schools on his list and got started a couple weeks back.
I visited Kansas two weeks ago versus Texas, said Koehler. It was a real nice area. It was nicer than I expected. I liked that it was a college town, everything is based around the stadium.
This week I am going to Tennessee, said Koehler. I am thinking about going to the Oregon in a couple weeks (11/17). Then I will take visits to the Cal and UH in December.
One program that may have an advantage is Tennessee. Not only does Koehlers grandpa live near the campus, which allowed him to visit unofficially this summer, but his teammate linebacker Colton Goeas is already committed to the Vols.
Hes been trying to recruit me the whole season (laugh), said Koehler. I keep telling him I am wide open. He is going on his visit in December so he can get more time with coaches. Scout
