Hopefully now that we have a head coach, then the recruiting can get going some more. I really like that Marquez North (receiver), I really dont know if CP, Hunter, and Bray are going to go pro.

I bet his grandpa being close keeps us in it...but Jones and Mahoney will have to reestablish a relationship pretty quick

Sorry if it offends, but this is a UT message board. Not going to subscribe to some PC doctrine to soothe egos. It is a business, & I'm more about a team I've invested in for over 30 years to succeed rather than try to have a bunch of feel good stories on the team.

It's a message board. It's a perfectly justified discussion. As everyone points out, it's up to the coaches anyway so who cares if some on here want to think that kid A or kid B will be let go?

Besides Pittman not being retained, is there something to Koehler's game that would cause us not to want this kid?

Hope we start to see some more oline offers soon seeing as we don't seem to be pursuing Koehler and might lose Skipper. Seeing as we did not take any olineman last year we need 4-5 this year and Kendrick and Sanders are the only 2 I'm confident about. Wouldn't mind a class of Sanders, Kendrick, Morris, Weisman, and 1 other though.

Probably just doesn't see this kid coming without Pittman. This is going to be a weird recruiting class I think.

Don't think so. If Jones wanted him he would atleast contact him and make him tell him that he is no longer a silent nor is he interested. Instead, the rumor is CBJ has not even contacted him. Koehler liked Pittman, but 2 of his bigger draws were his family in Tennessee and the fact that we didn't bring in anybody last year. We could atleast still be in the race if we wanted him.

Still early and we don't know all the details of recruiting so he may get contacted tomorrow for all we know.
