You mean great juco players like Byron Moore? He was a 4* iirc & was considered a big get over Miami at the time. He hasn't done so "great" at UT. Nobody knows how these kids will pan out. Let's give this guy a chance. It really wouldn't surprise me at all if Riyahd ended up an upgrade over what we have. Did you see our DB's last year?

First committed to Kentucky before they cut him loose eventually signing with Georgia Southern. He does seem to have a good attitude and does have good size (not tall) but thick and can play physical. Hopefully he will surprise to the upside. GBO

Cp was barely recruited out of hs. Sometimes kids are late bloomers (clay matthews and patrick willis)

Please name someone who has had more success with JUCO's than Bill Snyder.

FWIW, Snyder was one laid egg shy of playing for the NC this year... I'd say that's quite a bit better than 2nd tier. And before you try it... he beat OU and stomped Texas.

Pretty sure we would've played Kst & Snyder in the 98 Fiesta bowl if they didn't get upset by A&M in Big 12 champ game. He's had them close several years iirc

Hard worker, his film looks great. Great pick up, even Bama and USC takes juco DB's despite what the douche Vols say.

I'm not a coach or anything (like some here on VN)... but the guy has good footwork and quickness. Not to mention he looks better than any DB we have on the roster currently.
