Maybe so since we need db's but I don't like taking juco guys that aren't great players. They only have 2 years so they have to be able to play right away. Just not sure this is an upgrade from what we have. CBJ know's better then me though. I do think he has a good upside. I'm a bit jaded on my opinion based on Riyahd having to sign with Georgia Southern out of high school.
This is an indication of how bad of shape our defensive backfield is in. A school like Tennessee should never need to take a juco unless it's a player that can step in and start from day one and be a difference maker. First committed to Kentucky before they cut him loose eventually signing with Georgia Southern. He does seem to have a good attitude and does have good size (not tall) but thick and can play physical. Hopefully he will surprise to the upside. GBO
Please name someone who has had more success with JUCO's than Bill Snyder.Ouch. Not off to a good start. Offer list is 2nd tier at best.

FWIW, Snyder was one laid egg shy of playing for the NC this year... I'd say that's quite a bit better than 2nd tier. And before you try it... he beat OU and stomped Texas.
