After his recent Rivals Interview, he said he is still very firm to UT. Also, Ole Miss, Miss St, LSU, and UA are still talking to him. He wants to make it up to the UT/Bama game. He said he can't wait to be a Vol and get to work on the Defensive line.
SCTiger, feel free to post info on Carr in this thread.
Thanks, sorry.

With it looking like Derek Dooley is a goner, who is a guy that you see the Vols losing?
-- Brad, Kingsport, Tenn.
There are a lot of dominos yet to fall in the saga in Knoxville, and a big hire to replace Dooley could help the Vols keep their class in place. Another big factor in Southeast recruiting right now is the status of Robert Nkemdiche. If he ends up committing to Ole Miss early enough, there are a number of players who might follow him to Oxford. As far as Tennessee is concerned, the guy I'm looking closely at is Jason Carr. I think he wants to stay with Tennessee, but if there's coaching uncertainty and Nkemdiche tries to lure him to Ole Miss, I think he has to take a long, hard look at the Rebels. There's no doubt there's going to be a ton of dominos that fall across the Southeast with several coaches on the hot seat, so it's a situation that could change very quickly.
"No longer is he committed to Tennessee," Rutherford said. "This has been very recent."
The 6-6, 280-pound Carr made an unofficial visit to Ole Miss this past weekend. He has an official visit set to Alabama.
"We have not talked about the Ole Miss visit yet, so I don't know how he liked it," Rutherford said. "But we just talked about Alabama ten minutes ago. We talked quite a bit about Alabama. He is going to make an official visit to Alabama in December."
What is Carr's interest level in Alabama?
"Very high," Rutherford said. "Very high. He's excited to hear more about the program. We were just talking about Alabama. He likes their defense and their defensive schemes. We run a scaled down version of what Alabama does defensively. He likes that. He is very excited about finding out more about Alabama."
