If the kid is looking around, I hope CBJ and staff are as well. If we need 2 DE's and 2 can say today they are 100% Vols, then Carr may need to look elsewhere if and when he decides before NSD. CBJ needs to play this 1st class safe IMO. Just make sure he gets a full class signed and then 2014 will be a much better class I think. Don't set us up to get burned on NSD when these kids who are still looking around snub us for following Pittman, Chaney, Hinshaw or Sal somewhere else. If CBJ had the class done a week before NSD, I would feel alot better about it.

Looks like Carr is about 20 lbs bigger at the moment. If that means Bellamy is faster off the edge, I'd rather have him.

Losing Carr would be pretty devastating. He has been one of my favorite recruits since he committed and I think he will be a difference maker coming off the edge. If we could get Lawson and keep Carr, UT could start to pressure the QB with just the front four for the first time in years. I really want Crayton for the middle too.

I really think that Carr, Morris and Lawson coming in the same weekend is a really good thing. It could be fUTure teammates :rock:.

Any updates with the status of Carr and UT? His commitment does not sound very good. Is the visit on the 11th still happening?

I think him and Lawson being here on same wknd is key. He likes idea of playing with big time player on other end.

Jason Carr, Memphis (Tenn.) White Station, Tennessee commit- "I don't care because the Vols are gonna be there next year."
