he said he was able to hang out with the guys, hang out with my brother and see some of the coaches, and also just hang out with vonn bell, a five-star safety from ridgeland high school in rossville, ga., who took his official visit to tennessee this weekend.
vonn, we hung out a little bit, but it was a little brief, carr said. i mean, we hung out together later on at night. But mostly i was just hanging out with the football team guys that are actually on it, like (fellow memphis natives) marlon walls and greg king and freshmen coming up like jalen reeves-maybin.
carr said he also met with some of the vols coaches, who didnt even feel the need to ask him whether hes still firmly committed to tennessee with national signing day on feb. 6 now less than two weeks away.
actually, i just sat down to talk to them for a little bit, he said. our relationship is already established. We have a good relationship, so it was basically just like going to another home.
we really didnt talk about (my commitment to tennessee) this time, just because i think they know how i feel. They know where im at. I dont think they want to ask me, like, every time they see me, so we really didnt talk about that. We just talked about regular football and just different things, but im pretty sure theyre trusting my word.
