'13 TN DE Jason Carr (UT signee)

Somebody found Dooley's orange dog in a closet.

When the orange dog story came out, I really thought it had to be a put up. I also thought it strange that Spurrier had his players petting a stuffed alligator, but I could kind of see it, maybe.

Anyway, with Coach Butch I think it will be all about footballing to the max.

Yes indeed. In addition to going after the elite blue-chippers, it also looks like Coach Jones is putting us in position to land guys who will provide much needed leadership and inspiration to their teammates.

It is great to see a WSHS Spartan becoming a Volunteer!

Best path ever. :)
WSHS Class of '81 myself
UT Class of '86 (stayed extra for one more football season....Sugar Bowl was great!!)

I don't have alot of posts but had to weigh in on this. You WILL see Carr playing for the Vols this year. He wants to go there, he has relatives there and he is looking for more than football. He is far from what you think of when you hear he is from a public school in Memphis. His father is solid in his life which is rare here. He will take his visits and enjoy getting away from this city like any 18 yr old kid would.

Since I was right on Carr, do I get to say "check my record" or "book it" from now on and have VN cred?

Sorry guys I know this isnt the right thread but what's the deal with Mustafa Green I havent seen his name in a while

Do you mean the defensive end recruit that was a long time UGA commit, but ended up being an EE at Okie state? Or the NC State runningback Mustafa Greene that had his moments but couldn't stay out of trouble, and was kicked off in october?

As a fan, I can only hope that most of the class that CBJ and staff sign this year have the desire to be a VOL that MR. Carr is displaying! #VFL
