'13 TN OT Christian Morris

Do you think we take 1 more OL commit(at this point it looks like we have 4)to make it 5?

I think if we could some how flip Derwin Gray (and hopefully Yannick along with him), then we would take another OL...or maybe they would tell someone to look around.

Morris "claims" he is down to 3 schools: Nebraska, UCLA, & Tennessee.

He said he is ready to commit, my guess would be UCLA.

Tennessee never gave him a commitable offer according to Hubbs, seems like Morris wanted to be a Vol more than the staff wanted him to be one.

To me it seems as though he has been west coast "star gazing"...

Remember when USC was the team to beat? Now UCLA...dude just wanted to get to the west coast any way possible.

If in fact scholarships are tight it cud be Koehler we're holding out for..Does seem strange we offer Kendrick and yet hold off on Morris.

Morris has been all over the place. He is a good prospect but he isnt near as far along as he and/or his handlers believe. In watching his tap, he could likely play football at a fairly high level in college but he needs a bunch if work... footwork not all that, needs to get stronger, needs to finish plays and play every play to the whistle among other things.

Morris was no longer on UT's hot list, so he has opted to look at two other schools. That is his option and best of luck to him.

Just shows....when UT comes calling, you better make a decision fast. I'm glad that we've done well on the OL this year. I feel like its' a pretty good haul.

Don't understand why we take a guy from CO and completely stop recruiting a home state top prospect.. this is nothing against Skipper, but kids like Jalen Ramsey feels no pressure to stay home because there is no pride in it unlike at Bama, AU, FL, UGA, or USCe

so we should take a guy who probably won't help UT and will ultimately transfer out from playing time because he is instate?

How is that good situation for the player or the school?
