I think that's what he was expressing surprise over. The fact that the kid is ranked that high in the top 250 is surprising considering the fact that it's well known he has a lot of work to do to become a productive college lineman.

I'm just not sure we should have passed on Morris...he looked bad at our camp but has looked excellent everywhere else...

Sure he's a project but not anymore than Skipper is

He got bumped cuz he is in their game. I would assume staff just really like these others more since we could have had him

he wouldnt of gotten invited to the all star game tho if he didnt look good at the camp they gave him his invitation at

I'm not saying he sucks just saying its the reason for such a huge jump. I don't know much about him. Jim Mora knows good players so I would say he is talented. Not sure what turned us off. Any clue on academics maybe?

Pretty much how I feel. But I think skipper can be a hell of a RT after a few years in the weight room. Wish we would have taken them both tho.

Four-star UCLA commit Christian Morris picked up an offer from offer from Oklahoma last week, and said he's still solid to the Bruins, but the new offer is one "that's leaving me thinking." Morris has kept in touch with Nebraska coaches after choosing the Bruins over the Huskers and now a late push by the Sooners might change everything. Morris already has visits to UCLA and Nebraska set, but said he will also take an official visit to Norman to see what the Sooners have to offer.

If I wasn’t staying in-state (sigh) then the Bruins look as good as any team out West.

The Jordan's didn't make his weekly top 5. They do hope to re-emerge next week when he throws five darts at a map to determine his new top 5.

It has always been “4 (or 5 if they are awesome)”.

And remember, this staff will recruit to the maximum possible number up until NSD. And even after, if they still have spots left. Plus, who WOULDN’T want to see the Mighty Zips offense?

Why the resurgence in the interest for Morris? Have the Vols soured on one of our commitments? Has one of our OL commitments waivered?

Hubbs said last night he doesn't know if Morris will be here today, he was still looking for a ride yesterday afternoon.
