Here's why I hate Rivals rankings along with others .... they evaluate players based on one scheme and that's a 4-3. Most of your dominant NTs were 3 stars because they view them as too unathletic to be a 4-3 DT. Most of your analysis such as with Miles is aimed towards the 4-3 (there's no way he moves to a LB spot in the 3-4, he fits perfectly the mold of what Dooley and Sal want at safety). You look at a guy like Sentimore, and he gets labeled as a tweener, even though he perfectly fits the 3-4 DE mold.

So what you're saying is that Dools and Sal are recruiting to fit the needs of their scheme. Hmmmmmm....

Mark Barron (#7 draft pick Bama) 6'1" 213... Starter this year Bama Robert Lester 6'2" 213. CSS likes to use Safeties with size obviously (LB mentality). Same with McNeil and hopefully Vonn Bell.. STAR Safety key position in CSS scheme will make a lot of tackles and probably some sacks..

Star safety is where a Vonn Bell type of player will be key. Has the perfect skill set to play right there.

0.............I don't think a lot of people realize how good this kid really is. He's got one play where he does a speed/bad turn where he has to flip his hips and close on the ball. Looked like a little corner closing on that route. I really like this big kid at safety.

Just shows how good of recruiters our coaches are, also having a former Vol as his coach didn't hurt. If he is solid now, he will be blown away when he takes in a game @ Neyland. So concerned, nah.

Miles is a big time pickup out of texas! Big and fast, cant wait to see this guy in orange. Our secondary is really filling up with elite talent. Now if we could just take care of up front...

I would be surprised if he drops at all. I think he may even jump up some. This kid is really talented. For his size he sure moves really well. He closes extremely well, he back-pedals extremely well and he has very good lateral movement. Add to that his size and physical style of play and you have a heck of a talent.

Miles is basically the exact same size as Mark Barron & Robert Lester coming out of HS, 247 said Miles is actually at 200lbs right now.

Anybody that likes Lester will love Miles. I watched Lester more than once in HS and really didn't like him. Also guys like Vinny Sunseri playing safety in this style of scheme should put to rest any concerns over Miles. This is a real big time player we just got. Love having him pick the Orange.
