I'll never understand why some people can't be happy. Yea. It will be a chore to hold onto him. Yea. We lost a kid from Texas last year. We also signed a big name prospect from there too.

Be excited. Consensus four star by every site (that's pretty impressive). If nothing else, just look at recruiting without a worthy product on the field. Get 9 wins, and it'll take off.

I think having coaches with UT ties will help tremendously. But this is recruiting so you never know. If he does stay then getting Mcneil and Miles out of Texas is the true definition of cherry picking the state. IMO

To cherry pick we need another one. Would've been good to get Ahmad Dixon, McNeil, and Miles as safeties out of Texas. Dixon is built for the SEC. A shame he's playing Baylor slop D.

I would have loved to kept Ahmad to but my point is if we get those type of players each year from TX then whoever is recruiting there is doing their job. Even if it is one a year.

Eddrick Loften was also from Texas, I know he never played for Tennessee but...

Dixon was committed for a few weeks.

Tennessee has had some success dipping into Texas & getting a few good kids every few years.

Seen some pics of Miles on 247, I can see why some analyst are saying he could end up at OLB. Kid easily has the frame to add weight & be a LB. His lower body is more bulked than his upper body.

Just me but I don't see the comparison of McQuay & Miles body types. Miles is thicker & more bulked up.

No question that Miles has the physical body to come in & play in the SEC right away.

This doesn't look like a possible OLB? I think he's a saftey all the way, but I can see why people think he could grow into an OLB.

No not to me. He's a safety all day. I think if a kid can run, flip his hips, and has good ball skills don't move him. Taylor Mays is the example of a player that should've played Linebacker. Miles is a much more fluid athlete. Actually reminds me of a bigger Byron Moore at safety. He can't jump as high but he's bigger.

All I know is he looks like a straight up man beast. I told a couple of guys I work with here in Dallas(one is an A&M fan and one is a Texas fan) that we had just got Miles to commit. Their mouths dropped because he is a big name in Dallas. We got the goods with this one boys.
