'13 TX FS Kameron Miles

Miles needs to play Safety. Don't know about all this Outside Linebacker talk. After watching his film, I definitely like him at Safety. He could be great at UT after sitting a couple of years behind Randolph and McNeil.

I doubt he would sit. Bet he'd get some clock. Not as a starter but in some of the big Nickel packages.

"Not my guy. In Brian's region, so I won't comment on the rating.

This is what I will tell you:

He WILL compete in the upcoming Rivals 5-star Challenge in Atlanta. Brian hand-picked him, so I don't think Brian thinks the kid sucks. It's only the best vs. the best ... so IMO he will have every opportunity to regain his rating -- OR even surpass it since ALL the analysts will be there. The opportunity is there for him. Up to him now." - Keith Niehbur, Rivals

Him dropping is the biggest dam joke. How did this kid drop? This is beyond bias and you cant tell me its not.

I hope he puts a giant chip on his shoulder and shows out at not only that camp, but in Orange and White for the next couple years!

But really. The bias is clear. It only makes business sense to hype the recruits of the biggest fan bases. That, and I'm pretty sure that "scouts" pretty much just follow Nick Saban around and say "ya, I thought that kid was good too. Good call coach."

Its BS he fell but like the rivals guy said he's gonna have every opportunity to move up in the rankings.

I don't give a flying rip what they do or say. I don't care if he falls out of top 250. It doesn't effect the talent that this dude has. We got the best safety in Texas and I'm glad he is a VOL !!

hell let the stars drop, who gives a :furious3: ?

Hell if everyone stops recruiting him because of the bias I'll take it and call it a win DUH!

Recent USC commit Eldridge Massington, a four-star receiver from Mesquite (Texas) West Mesquite, moved up 104 spots to No. 141.

Kam's Teammate got a Big Boost in the ratings tho.
"Massington was seen as more of a possession receiver prior to this spring," Perroni said. "A top sprinter in track, the big 6-foot-3, 205-pound prospect really came into his own this spring. As he has gotten used to the game of football he has shown more of his speed on the actual field. ...

so he was a top sprinter but only seen as a possession receiver ...

a lot of these "evaluators" are Charlatans

When the re-evaluate Miles, they will say things like

"he doesn't see the ball leave the QBs hands very well"

"he has stiff, arthritic type, hips"

"he has an enlarged medulla oblongata"
