'13 TX FS Kameron Miles

I think Miles' recruitment will unfold similar to McNeil last year. Lots of people will fret about him all the way up to NSD, but in the end, he's All Vol.

Actually it'll be easier with our team playing a bit better. The Kentucky loss did more damage than fans realized last year. Perception of the program was at an all time low around signing day.

Had an interview with 247 yesterday. Says he's still solid to UT. Says the main reasons he is still committed are the connections he has to the UT program and the relationships he has with Conklin and Coiner.

The only other visit he has planned as of now is to UCLA. He is still working Massington per the article.

“I mean, I’m trying to get him, but I’m not trying to push him to make him come to Tennessee.”

He didn't get to watch the MSU game, but he saw the highlights. He still thinks this is a good team, but just gives up big plays on defense too often.

We'll see what he says after the UCLA visit...I learned from the Peters and Copeland situation not to trust any commit that is still takin visits

It's good to be cautious, but if there's no staff change (CDD), Miles is coming to UT. He was on a recruiting visit high after his visit to ASU that had people worried. Journalists are going to spin quotes, etc. that make it sound, to us, worse than it really is. A week or two later, he's back on the UT train.

Me too.. If u follow recruiting long enough, it makes u a cynical person.

It should just make you aware that you should never assume you know what a 17/18 year old kid is going to do.

I follow recruiting to see how our program is doing, as the talent we bring in ultimately decides how good our team will be (unless we have a Petrino who can do a lot with less). I don't follow recruiting for the soap operas and all the drama surrounding the recruiting stories.

Wasn't able to make his game last night like I wanted. Looked into his stats and seems pretty slow for him. Rushing - 5 for 15 with an 11yd run being the big part of that. 1 catch for 22 yds. Fumbled once but WM recovered. Dont know how they tried to use him on O though. Only had 2 assisted tackles. Don't know if he was avoided. Still trying to find more articles on the game with how he played. They had a 21-7 lead going into half but pulled a 2011 Vol move and lost 41-21. Seems WM had 5 turnovers with the opening 2nd half ko being fumbled. Momentum changer no doubt.

But they were playing HP which is a really solid TX 4A program historically. Who is now 6-1. WM is now 5-1. Looking at WM schedule I would say HP is the most solid team system wise, and the best team they will face this yr. 3 games left WM should win.

This kid is all vol. Even with a new coach early playing time will not change. This kid has embraced his new home already. He will also stay in the ears of other recruits till NSD. Good guy to have on our side IMO. GO VOLS.

Personally, I think most likely to flip with a coaching change

it all depends on who we hire but I think he is solid I don't ever listen to scout anymore after the Kris Comas an Khambrel Garland situation that was just a disaster it really hurt scout's credibility.

Y'all jumpin up in my crawl. I gave my opinion based on the distance and the fact he said coiner and Conklin are a big part of why he committed. Sure, we got mcNeil last year, but also lost peters and santos after the staff shake up. You have your opinion, but don't act like mine has absolutely no merit... I pack heat

I asked the kid personally if it would affect him. He said he loves the coaches, but has fell in love with Knoxville. He said "don't matter what happens, I'm all Vol baby." So, to me your opinion has zero merit, being that I'm comparing you to him.
