'13 TX FS Kameron Miles

Doubt UT heavily pursues Miles. He'll be a good player. I hope he is successful wherever he plays. But UT doesn't have much need for that skill-set at the moment.

Tennessee has some connections with Miles, with him once being committed here and having visited Knoxville before, as well as Mixon being a good friend and former teammate. We will see if he finds time to visit this summer or if he will wait to visit until the fall. I think Tennessee is in good shape there early on but we will see what all schools eventually come after him.

What happened?

No reason was stated for the dismissal of Miles, an ESPN 300 recruit who signed with the Aggies in February 2013. Texas A&M coach Kevin Sumlin declined to elaborate on the circumstances surrounding Miles' dismissal when asked about it Thursday.

"My actions does not reflect my character, I made a mistake and I accept full responsibility and the consequences of my actions, Aggie always," Miles posted via Twitter on Wednesday evening. "I want to issue an apology to Coach Sumlin and the coaching staff, teammates, my family, WHMS for my misjudgment and the mistake I made."

Miles' Twitter account has since been deleted.

According to Rivals it was theft but they did not say what he stole.

He's a traditional SS. Seattle plays Chancellor in that role a lot. That's why he blasts a lot of crossing routes. He shouldn't be isolated in coverage by a coaching staff a lot. I personally don't think we really need to go after him he's not at a position of dire need.

Honest question.

Why would we not need a highly touted 4* safety on our defense?

Okay where do you see him fitting in this defense with the players we're bringing in? It's not like he was killing early for A&M. I like Kam as a player but I like the guys we just brought in more.
