Actually, OSU gave us a better game than UM in our bowl game.
Your girlies could not catch our tight end that day in Orlando and our QB set a Citrus Bowl passing record against a very average team. I would like to see Michigan's record in a real conference.
so i'm going to assume by real conference you mean SEC so let's take a look. UM is all time 13-5-1 against your "real" conference, a winning percentage of 71%. if that's too broad for you let's go to BCS era where they are 6-2, 75%,still a winning record.
while we're there, let's look at UT record against the big ten, overall 8-4, a winning percentage of 66%. BCS era has UT vs big ten at 2-1, still 66%.
anything else you'd like cleared up for you?

Lets look at the matchups behind those numbers. If its like any other bowl game the conference playing the Sec team has the higher seed.
ahh the classic when you have nothing else, might as well bring up some one time history that has nothing to do with today. guess you have to live in the past these days don't you :good!:
BCS Era:
UT = 1 NC
UM = 0 NC
SEC = 8 NC
Big 10 = 1 NC
Any questions????
Now, Fleetwood, up until now, I have respected the tone of your rhetoric. You have, for the most part, been a very respectful visitor. As a Michigan supporter, however, I presume that you would not appreciate being lumped in with Florida fans. Such a characterization would not be intended as a compliment and should be beneath the dignity of one who supports a program as rich in tradition as Michigan's. So relax, enjoy your status as a supporter of an historically elite program, but refrain from the Johnny-come-lately logic when visiting the forum of another perennial power that is simply climbing out of a 40-year nadir.
this question was as to how UM would fare in the real conference and this is the evidence we have for that, sorry it doesn't fit the answer you wanted, might as well see how many ways we can twist it around until you get the answer you want or try to discount it in some way.
if you look through the posts i have in this thread i have tried to add information and get information and have only posted negativity in response to negativity and have tried to back up what i say with factual information and have even let a lot of it go. anyone wanting to discuss any of this, recruiting, football history, whatever rationally then i'm all for it. hell i've been to neyland more times than i've been to the big house so it's not like i have anything against UT at all.

question i have is where did i miss where we were talking about NC? sorry the answer to the question your fellow Vol fan posed wasn't the one you wanted so you had to find something else to fill your WHOOOOOOOOOO ESS EEE SEE agenda
