If he wanted to prove his worth then he wouldnt have picked Michigan. Good Luck to D Bell in all his endevors but this thread should be axed cause there is no reason to talk about him. Guys some of you are like 13 year old girls that just lost a boyfriend. Grow up ! Green is a good kid. This is his decision that will effect His life. I wish him the best, and for you for owners ,were in on some other good RB's that may play against better competition. I would love to have had Green but I do not think he is the best RB. Remember Jamal and Travis ? They weren't even the best in their respective states.

Agree with the meaning you are trying to communicate, but Jamal did PROVE beyond any reasonable doubt that he was the BEST RB to come out of GA....Just ask Jasper Sanks, or any UGa fan..

I don't think this should be as much of a shock as everyone is making it out to be. We knew that Michigan was leading his list going into it. I don't understand the name calling and meltdown on this one.

Who's doing that? He had to pick someone. We were a long shot with a new staff. CJG kept us in this one until the end. Staff probably knew Wednesday night it was a done deal, thus them staying 3 hours giving their final pitch.

Sure, but time doesnt affect good recruiters. Didnt take Urban Meyer but a few days to begin pulling big recruits for OSU.

CBJ needs to be good at recruiting otherwise we're going to fall off the map even further. And we cant blame it on Dooley at that point.

You aren't comparing Urban Meyer and Butch Jones at this point are you?

Urban Meyer went into a much better situation. Not to mention Meyer's name is MUCH more well known.

Well CBJ and staff need to get a big time rb to commit, getting a couple of ok rb's isn't gonna cut it in a league where everyone else has a few good to great rbs and their ok rbs sit on the practice squad.with out qb and wr situation up in the air we can't afford to have out same mediocre at its best run game not get any better.losing green hurts allot and it'll only be worse if they can't get another top rb

I wish DG the best but I honestly think he's a bit overrated (yes I'm that guy). He doesn't have great speed, has no wiggle, doesn't change direction well. He's just huge and that doesn't always translate to big boy football. Oh yeah he's going to the Big Ten well anyway DG reminds me more of Kevin Gandy or Jabari Davis as a recruit/player then he does Eddie Lacey or Jay Graham for that matter.

I still wish he would have chose us because we could use a big back but I think DG was more what CDD wanted then what CBJ wants. If we can get Johnathan Ford we will have the better back.

Good luck to him. Hope he has a solid college career followed by a solid NFL career. No ill wishes towards him at all. But, current precedent is if you want to compete for a title, you need to play in the SEC. So I hope a NC wasn't on his mind because it's not very likely to come at Michigan. <---Not sour grapes, just stating that the SEC is the home of champions.

A retarded squirrel could pull big recruits to OSU. You need to chill out. CBJ has us in on a lot of recruits that we do not deserve to be in on without ever coaching a game for us. He puts a decent team on the field this year we start getting some of those recruits and we will forget all about the name Dooley.

I hope you're right. Good coaching is what this team needs. But we need the good coaching to shine through when we're getting our @ss handed to us by all the tough teams we play this year. No more moral victories!
