Have you seen our LBs? We really needed 6-7 good ones but our roster is depleted everywhere else too.

Yep. We need 3-5 good ones next year but numbers will probably only allow us to take 3.

It really is an unbelievable statistic. Here is a list of terrible coaches that were too good to claim that.

Lane Kiffin
Will Muschamp (obviously)
Dan Mullen
Sylvester Croom
Ed Orgeron
John L Smith (at Michigan State)
Dan Hawkins (at Colorado)

I literally cannot think of a coach that never didn't beat a team that finished with a single Top 25 vote in either poll in their first 3 years at a BCS school in the last 10 years.

Did vandy beat a team who finished ranked this year?

Golden has done horrible on the field. Solid in recruiting.

Derek Dooley wasn't even that pitiful.

That is what we were discussing...the talent on the team. I definitely agree with you that he hasn't produced on the field...at all.

I was thinking them too but in my mind it's always what someone is ranked at the end, not the beginning of the season. Did they lose to A&M

BB, I know this, and yes, I saw our LBs all 12 games this year. I guess what I'm getting at is many LB recruits said earlier in the year that the coaches were telling them we were signing 5, but that was taking into consideration that AJ was leaving early. I am just speculating based off those numbers, and I'm definitely not saying that I don't want Bryant to be a part of this class. We need to sign 50 this class to fill all positions of need.

I agree. I think he has done a good job. If he leaves, whoever gets the job will inherit a talented team.

Golden is a good coach. He is letting his assistants drag him down


if he doesn't get rid of Dnofrio he will certainly not be there much longer.

they have 5* Tre Williams and 3* Deshaun Davis already committed. They should be getting Rashaan Evans also. I doubt they go after Bryant

The belief is his grade shouldn't be a problem anymore, but that was a concern.
