Why do people always do this with recruiting?

Here is a kid who has basically kept his mouth shut and done absolutely nothing and people still bash the character of the kid.

Same thing happened with Von Bell last year.

Of course he got arrested before starting his Freshman year, so there is that.

It doesn't matter what the Universities can afford.

It's called a racket. If the NCAA was running garbage collection the DOJ would be involved and be calling this scam the mafia. There is no reason the NCAA or Schools should be treated different, which is what has been going on, it's a huge criminal racket.

The mafia makes money.

Most athletic programs are lucky to break even.

There isnt an owner or a bunch of stockholders pocketing great sums of cash

This kids obviously a great athlete and would love to have had him but something always was in the back of my mind that he didn't fit with the others in this class. This class is amazing without him.

It suggests that the athletes do not want an education and would rather have whatever the scholarship is worth in money IMO. I think most football players see their work in the classroom as a hindrance to their NFL dreams. I don't blame them for thinking this way, doesn't mean it is a good idea.

If they think it is a good idea then they should look at how baseball operates their farm leagues because that is what is going to happen. Colleges will spend their resources on more important things like academics and let sports fend for themselves. I hope they like those overnight bus rides to the games.

Nothing like ambles. Adoree has not given away a lot of info. No reason to hate on him just bc you think he doesn't go to Tennessee.

We also need to remember that there have been numerous highly ranked and widely publicized 5* athletes who turn out to be mediocre college football players despite all indicators pointing otherwise. On the other hand, Richard Sherman was a 3*. Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie wasn't even ranked or recruited out of high school. Joe Haden- 4*. Alterraun Verner- 3*. Darrelle Revis- 3*. To bring it even closer to home, Cam Sutton- 3*. How bout them apples?
