'14 DC CB D'Andre Payne (UT commit 4/3/13)

I gave up on him at the MSU game. Haven't been able to cheer for him since.

Wow, I say this will all sincerity, you suck as a fan of The UT football team.

I know that I am out of touch with today's lingo, but at least I know how to support my team. Football is a team sport, maybe you would be better suited to golf or tennis :salute: :)

He'd make a great pinochle fan. They are a rare breed.
:)

Moseley, Payne, Berry, Wharton. Put them all back there and see who wants it most

I think Von Pearson competes for kick returns as well. Plenty of depth at WR too, so injury won't be as big of a concern, especially if Kameel is here. I don't think that will play a huge part except in Suttons case.

Remember that time you dropped that frisbee at the goal line, and it cost your team the chance to go to Regionals? Well those 3 future professional athletes on your high school ultimate frisbee team still took you out for ice cream, didn't they?

So you can still cheer for a VFL who occasionally trips over a turf monster, can't you?

I hope not..... If Wharton, Berry, or some of these other young WR/DBs/RBs can't do it I will be disappointed.....

Huh? Nah, put the hands in our playmakers as much as possible. If Von is the best returner, let him do it.

CP did it and that was when we had nobody else at WR.

We have depth at WR now. Minimal risk and Max reward here.

I want Vic back for KR. His film was unreal for returns. For now I say keep DY back for punts. I like the security he brings and he is shifty in tight space but just lacks long term, top end speed to finish. I don't want to go back to the debacle we had at PR before DY.

Look at his pic. You can tell he has never played football. He has no clue because he has never played the game so he can sit back and be Cesar. Hail Jave!

I don't agree with this. Put your most dynamic guy back there and win special teams. If that's Malone, so be it.

Teams win championships with their best guys back there.

I would be disappointed if we don't have return men in this last class not named Malone and Pearson. I do want Cam Sutton returning Punts though.

I'm still just too scarred from the two seasons where our guys couldn't even field a clean punt and killed us..That's the most important part of being a return man, and DY is very reliable at it.

That's why I'm not ready to deem any freshman "an instant upgrade over DY".

Oh and DY had a nice highschool tape too.

Devrin dances back and forth under the ball then lunges one way or the other to catch it. I wouldnt call that fielding it cleanly. He is the only person I've ever seen field a punt that way.

This got me rolling lol..

Doesn't count

Must catch with greasy fingertips only. No palm, no body. I also prefer to hear a verse of Shakespeare while fielding the catch, but will settle for Foghat during a tight game
