Did you read the whole post or not, the point of the post was that the reason Florida and Alabama were only in the final 3 to lose to Tennessee. Those two may have not even really been his #2 and 3 that was the point of the post dude not the national tv part.

We've heard stories that this is how Saban runs things and if true brings out the sorry card on the Bama program. Before Tide faithful rise up and declare to the heavens.....THIS IS THE WAY WINNERS OPERATE...bull...crap like this eats at the foot...takes time but this fungus will reach the juicy center at some point...I'd say the same if I heard Butch was using the same practices...you're playing with young men's lives...play responsibly!

Was he not being recruited by Bama and Florida? Isn't it safe to assume those would be the logical finalists. Who else would he have up there? MTSU? He was being recruited by them dude. Its a no brainer. Just saying. There's no conspiracy there.

He had over 30 offers man are you serious??? Lol the guy is a player had a Texas offer and was high on them for a while Texas A&M is the popular pick now he had an offer from them. South Carolina. Notre Dame was in the National Championship. You are making it sound like he was some scrub player by talking about MTSU. If that is the case you better get your umbrella out, cause Volnation is about to rain some flames down on ya. :hi:

I'm with ya man, I rolled with it in stride, cuz I know how message boards are. Most of it stemmed from the fact that half of Volnation is scared of success, and felt like my lil thread would somehow misalign the stars and jinx us. Ahhhhhh well.

Everybody is entitled to their single moment of panic, but the mass pandemonium??? Mine was when a troll poster was talking about a caterer at the Opening being asked for a blue and orange cake for a son that was committing the next day. Like you said that lasted for about 30 seconds for me, but it was still a moment. I understand we have been broken up and had the whole rug pulled out from under us, but with every recruit that happens to some other schools. We are TN we are rising up cuz........ "Butch GETS IT!!!!!"

You obviously didn't get what I was saying. It is a no brainer that Bama and the Gators would be those top teams AND that this was good pub for UT. That's what they do. I said who else would you expect them to choose from? Those other schools would not have had as big an impact. Everybody knows that. You act like you figured out some media secret because you were told something. We kind of already know that but thank you for reiterating what we already know. I said MTSU because TX and all the other schools were irrelevant in the grand scheme. This was an SEC showdown on television. Its a no brainer.

Anybody can act like they knew something after the fact. Texas recruits nationally, and he had ties to the state. Your posts continue to make no sense. Who he picked from was his choice. Jusr because you think Fla and Bama are the logical choices, doesn't mean that is the logical choice for a high school kid. You keep contradicting yourself and jumping on different sides of the fence.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Dillon the only recruit at The Opening to commit to an SEC school? I saw a lot of Pac-10 or 12 or whatever their number is now. And i saw a Clemson and a couple FSU. But weren't we the only SEC school to get a commit from The Opening?

Yea that is who I got it from, I was trying to leave any trace of his name out just in case it could get him in trouble, but WE is still fairly ambiguous. He is one of the most reliable posters I have seen, and I trust his opinion ALOT.
