A linebacker with good size who can be used in different ways. He is an excellent blitzer, but he is also strong against the run. He plays within himself, holding his position, and he has great recognition. He is very smart, he plays with energy, and he is versatile. He has very good instincts, he knows the game better than many at this level, and he is very reliable. He is not at his best playing in space, but he is solid. He is a strong tackler, he scrapes well, and he could end up being best at inside linebacker down the road. He could be trained across the board when he gets to UT because he has the ability to play inside or outside linebacker in college.

"not at his best playing in space"

Is that not the opposite of most scouting reports on him. All summer they raved about his coverage skills.

That's what I was thinking. Rivals said he was the best cover LB in this class. I would be more worried about his size in run stopping.

His profile says 6'3 220 and he looks like he's in great shape. If he puts on 20 pounds and keeps his speed the sky is the limit.

Does anyone know what his current weight is? And maybe his Bench and squat numbers?

When I watched him at The Opening, he was eating up everything thrown his way. Not worried in the slightest about coverage skills.

My goodness, he looks like his Dad.
