I really liked his commitment but like a lot of Dooley's last class, lets see who else thinks the kid can play.

I understand what you're are saying, but they are all technically WRs and listed as such on a roster. I just wasn't sure where you were coming for as everyone but Kameel is listed as an athlete but it's a big deal either way. :hi:

It's called Slot Receiver. That's makes them receivers. I know what you're trying to say but they are still receivers even though their not on the outside. Also doubt Creamer plays TE with Downs,King,Quinn,Meredith, Branisel, and the 2014 TEs. That 6 TEs already.

This is one I'm not heartbroken having lost. I like that he committed so early, and I think he's a great player, I'm just not sure if he was a need. This also might open some opportunity to the Berry Twin that wants to play WR.

Why did they part ways and who's better, Lee or Powell?

"I think it was more of a mutual decision. He was up here for several days and he and the coaches just didn't seem to click and I think he was somewhat upset about the Powell commitment because they are similar players.

I'd take Powell on my team. He can do a number of things for you."

I feel bad for Lee, but life goes on. I trust our coaches. Seems like an unfortunate situation for not just Lee, but our coaches, too. Our coaches saw the potential before many schools, such as Florida.

I wish him the best of luck. On CZA, some things should just stay behind closed doors, especially something so personal and unfortunately controversial. IMO, it's better for these matters to be between the staff and the recruits and their families.

I played high school ball in florida, and never heard of this school. far from a big time and doesnt seem to play any big time competition. I was iffy on quality upon commitment.

I agree 100% whether he was bashing the kid or explaining the situation, Twitter isn't the place to do that. Not for a coach at least. If this was Franklin that sent this tweet out every one of us would be hounding him for being a grown ass man punking a kid on Twitter.

CZA may have said what he said to prevent any kind of negative recruiting against us behind the scenes with other prospects. I could see other coaches telling a recruit to look at what we did to Lee(making them think we made certain promises to him about not taking other players at his position or whatever).

Lee is a quality kid. Wish him the best. Sometimes things aren't as they seem but that is life. Everyone must deal with it.

I wouldn't be surprised if Justin King was moved to LB where he was originally thought to play.

Franklin gets bashed because he does punk kids on twitter. CZAs tweet was an explanation of how things worked and looked to be trying to calm the waters. He shouldn't have tweeted it out, I agree with that, which is why it was deleted. But this tweet and the Vandy tweets have been night and day. You can see the butthurt in the Vandy tweets.

Wow, that could have been what happened. He visits, talks about wanting to be a safety, coaches say we need him at WR cause we are in on some big time safety talent...they part ways....I like this better than the other senarios...

Or maybe he has a high fiber diet and he realized the crapper isn't close enough to the practice field. Who cares...let's move on.
