14 FL WR Lawrence Lee (Previous UT commit)

Sounds like CZA was just trying to "explain" how this happens with a recruit. He can't mention Lee by name or go into details.

Nothing like Franklin& Co, who act like jilted ex girlfriends when they're reminded that they are still Vanderbilt.

It's not like CZA went "ohhh, you're not good enough for the orange&white #volsb1tch"

Best policy is just not tweet anything like that at all. Can be misinterpreted, which I already did apparently.

You're not the only one. Not saying you're wrong either, I just think our coaches have more class than that. I do think they honestly care about these kids.

I think the reality is it ended up not being a fit. His thoughts about where he should be (maybe play) didnt align with the coaches. If thats the case, its maybe not a fit and I dont see an issue with it.

I dont think this is anywhere in the realm of Candy coaches, and honestly think Azzanni didnt mean bad, but some will see it that way. I had to read it a few times before feeling the way I do now.

Ditto.

Maybe his tweet was not so "fine". I don't think it's there anymore. At least I did not see it on his twitter.

i dont think it was "fine" at all. some on here are choosing to read this though their orange tinted shades -

and have the other bricks best interest in mind as well

that's a down right callout, on twitter, by a grown man, directed at a 17 year old kid...

Well since you have obviously turned your orange shades in then go cheer for another school.

Just in case he or a friend reads this, I wish Lawrence Lee the best. From all I have learned about him and our other commits, I know he is a fine young man and athlete. Wherever he plays, even though it will not be with the Vols, I look forward to watching his progress. Good luck, Mr. Lee, and thank you for your consideration.

Looks worse that he deleted it

It does! And I agree with your first statement as well. Regardless of the situation or the meaning of the text, I think it's better to not say anything at all. Coaches like Franklin...I expect that kind of stuff! A staff shouldn't have to defend themselves on a social network regarding recruiting tactics or personnel.

Or it's saying they have to consider the other students who are coming to play for the team as well, and the ultimate goal for all of them.

Orange tinted shades my butt. How bout getting off the one way street.

read it however you choose to. apparently someone in a position of power agrees with me, as it has been rightfully deleted.

Or he could see how it could be misinterpreted and deleted it himself

you are correct. he could have typed it and posted it all on his own, then looked it, read the reaction, and taken it down all on his own.

what would ockham say
