'14 GA ATH Myles Autry

Thank you... and that comes from you being a parent and possibly following me from the beginning... Trust is natural with all the transitions. I'm on the inside of the track... There have been things that I know that I would NEVER NEVER NEVER write on these boards. Everything you hear and read on these boards is NOT the truth.

So that being said...

Thank you for understanding my position.
Read on TOS where Autry may commit tonight. Any word on this MZ

She said earlier that Autry's momma was very pleased with what she saw, but told her son to wait...for whatever reason, I do not know. That being said, the wait may have been just a 24 hour "cool down" period so that a non-emotional decision can be made...just a guess.

We've been around a lot long than you have. If anyone is fair weathered it's you. Not sure who you think you are...

It's very obvious they picked UT for the coach. (Which is fine. Most recruits are like that.)

We picked UT because we love the school and team. We'll support any coach, regardless.

Hah well don't worry I'll never challenge you in words with friends. :salute:

You would probably win that contest against me with ease. While I do enjoy repartee, word games are a particular weakness. Anyway, thanks for the compliment. It's hard to say boo around here without taking a beating for it. lol

From what I can gather its nothing like that. As parents they had a trusted relationship, now they got to build a new one, simple as that. Except now, coach Jones doesn't get to call and visit all the time to forge the relationship, so it takes time.

I'm willing to bet most would feel the same way as a parent, just don't want to admit. Being a fan of a school and entrusting your child to one are on different ends of the spectrum.

This is prob right on. It's been hectic since CBJ has been here, and I'm sure it's impossible for current players families to have time to bond with the new staff like they could during te recruiting process.

"Everything's been good. I had a good time up here. Practice was great, watching them get after it. It was highly intense and stuff like that," Autry said. "This is my second time visiting and last time I visited was when Tennessee was recruiting Jason Croom and I had a blast here. Knoxville is a great place to be and the fans are crazy and I love it."

"I was watching film and they were showing me how they put their running backs in space and they were comparing my highlights to their plays and it looks similar so that's a big key in looking at college because I'm looking to fit into an offense well and Tennessee, who their offense runs, I could see myself doing it. I talked to coach and it caught my attention," Autry said.

"It's good. All of them are cool. All of them are hype for this year and me being recruited I like to see that stuff," Autry said. "They're hype and they have high intensity and they had a downfall last season and they're hype and Tennessee's back around and that's good for Tennessee."

"Ohio State was on top because they were my dream school, but I've never been there so I really can't tell you that," Autry said. "For me, it's really too early for me. I don't have a top school right now. I like every school equally and every school I've been to is treating me the same. I'm taking it day-by-day and taking it slowly."

Well im sure urbie will pull out all the stops on this one. Kid is a baller and needs to play where he feels comfortable point blank. I don't know what he/mother is looking for but I have no doubt that our offense will be something suited for his abilities. If he feels like urban is trust worthy and really cares about what happens to Myles then go for it. I have no problem in thinking coach jones is a one of a kind coach and human being. Players will be coming to play for him and it won't be to win, it'll be to become a better person/player. What really matters in life

BTW..arguing with a players mom, becasue you can...then using big words to make fun of those that enjoy her posts makes no sense to me. I enjoy her posts and know that while she is not going to come out and tell us "whats up", she might give some insight to his thoughts and for sure add to the overall discussion of a player.

I thought the mods deleted all this personal garbage. Here's a hint for anybody that does not want that crap started. Don't start it. You did that. Here's another hint for anybody who does not want it continued. Don't continue it. You did that.
